Excellent value for money in all aspects! Enviorment (great gardens and beaches), fully equipped clean and spacious rooms, big over de sea restaurant terrace, four bars, enormous swimming pool, superb friendly and efficient treatment from everybody … and more. I will definitely repeat :)
Probably the nicest stay we ever had in an all-inclusive hotel. We were a group of 3 families with kids aged 11-14 years old. We booked the seafront private rooms for us and our friends. Spacious, clean rooms with a nice terrace and a relaxing view of the garden and the sea. The private sun-beds were the cherry on the top, accommodation-wise. The food was excellent; you never expect to get such good-quality food in an all-inclusive family hotel, even with the stars it has. The main restaurant is very spacious, the personnel very helpful and smiling and, despite the Covid-19 restrictions, everything ran smoothly. A thumbs-up for the nice senior chef who served and gave advice and for the ever-happy brunette server at the cold station! We have to specifically mention Vasilis, the golf-cart driver who was eager to help us with all our requests and Matina (if we’re not mistaken on the name) from the Customer Service experience. Also, not to forget Alexandra who is in charge of the water sports and an excellent teacher! We also have to mention that the Hotel Manager is supervising all activities, is always present and nothing seems to escape him. A big congrats since it’s rare to see a hotel manager actually supervising a hotel and being present in everything that’s going on. The only cacophony in our stay was our experience at the Byblos restaurant where there was only one server for 6 tables (with a total of about 30 guests) and the service was so slow that we had to cancel the desserts and leave. This really needs improvement, especially since it is one of the few parts which are not included in the price. However, as it was only one evening during our week-stay, we did not think it would be fair to deduct points due to that incident. All in all, an excellent stay and we’ll definitely return next year 😊😊😊…

Me and my husband are huge fans of this perticular resort. Every year it gets better and better. Amazing and kind staff at the reception, very willing to inform you for everything. We always treat ourselves with a massage at the aegeo spa. Amanda at the reception of the spa is a star, very kind, sweet and always with a smile. If you go ask for Euaggelia to treat you, she has very good hands. And also Bravo to Mr Alysandratos the General Manager of the resort, although there were very strict measures due to Covid, he managed to prepare every service of the resort very beautifully and we didn't even feel like there were any restrictions, always kind and eager to make our accommodation special. This was my second time in Barcelo Hydra beach resort and Spa. The amenities, the food, the services, the Spa and the staff for one more time, were found beyond our expectations. Everything were well organized and perfectly safe. There was a surprising addition of sunbeds right next to the swimming pool that made our day, during the relaxing hours spent there. Definitely a "need to visit place" that will be included in our holiday "routine".
