We stayed in Aerial Dunes 2 room 607. Room was ok . Needs some painting and updating for sure! Great location, walk across to the beach. Whales tails is just over bridge. Restaurant at resort has good food but understaffed like every other place in Florida. Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at Ariel Dunes 1 in June. It was amazing! Contactless check-in. Upon entering we noticed our lodging was clean and exactly as described on VRBO.com. We had 24/7 access to the host, any questions we had they responded almost immediately. We had 5 in our group with ample space in the 3BR, 2BA resort. There were beach chairs for a family of 4 with 2 boogie boards, a stackable washer and dryer in our place. 4 visible pools, a beach tram was available on the premise. We are so close to the beach! See the pictures. There are two entrances and exits with guards at each. The facility was clean and landscape well maintained. We have not experienced any issues except we overheard on two occasions one of the elevators got stuck with people inside. The grocery store, Winn-Dixie is 1.6 miles away, Publix grocery store 2.5 miles away and a Walmart less than 5 miles away. So many choices of cuisine within 3 miles. Free wi-fi, kitchen supplies, refrigerator, stove, plates, and eating utensils. As you can see in the pictures we are less 2 minutes walking to the beach. The water is clear to the bottom which is why it is nicknamed the Emerald Coast. We definitely plan to return next year.

When you look at the Ariel Dunes 1 building and look at very 2 top floors in the center. That is #2403 Penthouse condo and it is unreal. It is 2 stories high on the inside, and it is like nothing else. First thing us they have taken a bunch of Covid prevention techniques. Contactless check in, ozonenated rooms, disinfected, bedding, floors, towels, door knobs, dishes and so much more. Strict Covid cross contamination methods to prevent any spread. Something they did that I have never heard of but have always been grossed out by is that hotels do not change the comforters between guest. This condo does! Everytime. I never use a hotel comforter but we got there early and I watched them make 1 bed and I asked what was wrong with the bedding that it had to all be taken out. The cleaner said they have always changed everything on the bed, Everything! Who wants to reuse bedding especially now. Next time you stay somewhere ask if they change blankets and comforters. Now let's talk about the view. They have 2 private balconies, and by private, I mean I could lay out nude if wanted to. 30 foot high ceiling, million dollar views of ocean, beach, pools, golf course, bay, bay bridge, all the way to Panama City Beach. I'll never be able to afford a place like this to buy, But I can visit and price wasn't to bad in the off season. The reviews all say the same thing, "It's Awesome". I had to book months in Advance to get the dates I wanted but it was worth to feel like a King!.

I am not a fan of Destin Florida itself. But the Hotel/resort was extremely nice. Beach was a good 200 yards from the Hotel. But they do offer shuttles if you want to wait. Small beach area, but adequate even on a Holiday Weekend. Reservations were a bit complex and aggravating. Pools were good size and well patrolled. Our group met and were HIGHLY impressed by their security staff. ( Teresa and Brittany?) were extremely pleasant and inviting. If we stayed there again it would be mostly due to the two of them and the in house Cabana Cafe making us fell welcomed !!!

I have been vacationing for more than 30 years and this has been by far my worst experience ever. We stayed at Dunes 2 from only Sunday night to Thursday morning and as I write this it is currently Wednesday morning. Having only been here for 2 days and 3 nights here are the issues: -Water sensors have shut our water off 4 times. Once was at 5am and no one turned it back on until 830am. My wife was in the middle of a shower and was full of soap. -Power went out from 10a to 1pm our second day here while we were in the middle of cooking -Turnkey and Halo sent 4 different contractors who consistently bothered us to come in and inspect the bathrooms to find any potential leaks and found NOTHING. Yet several hours later our water gets shut off. It is like clockwork “someone comes to look at bathrooms, says no issues, hour or two later water gets shut off, we have to call to turn it on - rinse and repeat” -My sister in law got stuck in an elevator for 10 minutes and the elevator help/panic buttons were out of order. -No one is ever at the front desk for help. -The ice machine in the freezer didn’t work. They sent a guy to fix it and it produced like 10 cubes over the next 24 hours. Overall - this place is a total dump. They also advertise as private beach access but you literally have to walk more than a half mile and cross multiple public roads to get to the beach.
