Juta is one of the most beautiful places in the mountains I ever visited. The views are amazing, almost no tourists, easy way of life. And this place really does not fit to the beauty of the sorrounding. The desing is soulless and offers you the view on the less interesting part. The team tries to be helpful but if you does not speak Russian it is difficult to communicate. the food was dissapointing as well.

Thank you for reviewing Juta as you are absolutly wright our village is amaizing. We work hard every season to get better as visually ,as from inside out. At the moment it is totaly changed and really fits in the surroundings of Juta. Even in 2016 our hotel was nice :)) you can say anything about us but not soulless;)))) Our hotel is breathing and feeling as human :)and it really has a soul as i have done my best to give a new life to hotel. Hope you will come again:))

We spent two nights at Juta Guesthouse as it was the only place that you could book online. There are more beautiful guesthouses and hostels further up and we would probably try for one of those next time.

The place is fairly modern (though some parts could do with a bit of renovation), clean and seemed to be targetting Russian tourists. The rooms are large and clean but very cold and damp. There is a small electric heater in the room and we really had to use it. The bathrooms were fine (clean, good shower).

Breakfast was really good and so was the food in the evening. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Noone spoke English but we managed to get by.

As mentioned, not a bad stay and I would go back but might try another place next time.

The location of the house is incredible, used as a base prior to doing Chaukhi Pass. The breakfast was good and the staff were average and only one person spoke English.
The rooms are cold and not very clean, our room was full of mosquitos and it was very smelly. The bathroom was not clean and the shower leaks water from everywhere.

I cannot speak about the accommodation as I haven't stayed overnight in this place but judging from the level of service I can only be happy about that. I came with a group of friends to hike in Juta. We went in and ordered coffee. While waiting for the coffee several of us decided to us the outdoor toilet to which we were by the employee who sold us the coffee. Before any of us could use it though not one but two other employees of the guesthouse came running, screaming at us to leave the guesthouse. We managed to understand that they fought us to be tourists and didn't want us to use the facility. Even our explanation that we have been chilling out in their own coffee shop and according to their own rules are their guests didn't help. A friendly Georgian tourist who happened to be nearby and was shocked tried to help and translated for us but the employees were so busy screaming at us that eventually the only solution was to literally take one of them by the arm and lead her to the the coffee shop so she could discuss the who situation with the coffee shop employee. No apologies followed, and although we all used the restroom, the hostile and completely ridiculous attitude of the employees made us leave without finishing our orders. It may be a small issue for some of you but for me it really reflects poorly on the whole on the whole place. Lesson learned - I will get my next coffee as per usual at 5th Season.

The staff at Juta made us very, very welcome and were very helpful. The rooms were good, with stunning views, food and breakfasts very good and good value. Great showers. The road up is an experience in itself and Juta offers great trekking around it.

I would definitely go back and explore more. Just being there gave a great insight into Georgian mountain culture.

We stayed in many guest houses during our 2 weeks climbing in the Juta area and this 'guest house' was by far the worst! Nowhere near the high standard of Georgian hospitality we'd experienced everywhere else, with very rude staff, poor quality and amount/availability of food, rooms dirty, shower leaking and with no toilet roll re-fill either (even when we asked for some!). We were also forced out over an hour before the stated check-in on Booking.com! Just a very poor experience from start to finish.

Due to availability we jumped around every guest house in Juta and I can highly recommend any other guest house in this area apart from this one (there are more on Booking.com & Google), but for this particular guest house... avoid, avoid, avoid!!!

Pros:
Well.. it is newly built house, very clean and rooms are big
Breakfast is good, local honey and milk

Cons:
Rooms are very very very cold and do not have air conditioning, and the heater is definitely too small and weak for the room.
Smell of wetness in the hotel (except the rooms themselves)
Sauna - 100 lari per hour ?!?!?!? Really?

stayd in September, was cold but nice.
As the season was ending not so much people.Juta itself amaizing place, alpine zone.
Hotel was perfect, the fact that it was built on such height from sea level already amaized me.
Also comfort,hot/cold water,heaters it the room,food was fantastic,georgian Khachapuri.
From morning went to hike with friends and came back in the evening, set down in lobby area at fireplace ,was just homelike. As i am gergian had no problem with language issues of course, but for foreigners it was hard to comunicate as girl who spoke English was not at that moment in hotel, but women where trying there best to please guests local or not local.Price is also normal as where ever i called in Juta ,guest houses or hostels all of them had the same price range, comparing to them Juta House is really luxury hotel

The location will take your breath away. About 7 hours drive from the main city Tiblisi...Juta Village is so beautiful! The hotel is more like a guest house and the three old ladies serving you food are warm and hospitable. The ambiance is like home. The rooms are basic but clean with running hot water all the time. You anyway wouldn't want anything more when you are amidst such gorgeous views and simple folks.

On the way to the hotel there was plenty of amazing views, mountains and meadows,,

The view from the hotel is also pretty amazing, with a 20 minutes walk up the mountain you can reach amazing spot on the top with cozy cafe and camping tents, the weather was between 21 day and 8 evening in the last week of August, the staff is very helpful and friendly, the food was good enough and the price is reasonable.
