The Coral Beach Hotel is also a condominium complex located right on the beach at Coral Road and Royal Palm Way. The facility was seriously damaged back in 2004 and 05 but has been completely renovated since then. About 90% of the condos have also been renovated and updated and are available for rent directly from the owners. Each is unique and has its own character. There is a restaurant/beach bar located on the site serving delicious food and cocktails at very reasonable prices. Check out The Coral Reef Beach Bar on Tripadvisor. It's a short 10 minute walk up the beach to Port Lucaya Market Place, where you can buy anything from T shirts to emeralds, and everything in between. The beach itself is never crowded, the water is crystal clear and the sand feels like sugar. Don't be surprised if you meet a celebrity or two; it's a secret hideaway for some of the rich and famous.

This was an amazing trip. Our guid Dangin made the experience come alive with local knowlege and tales. Dangin even added an additional attraction stop for us. All the stops were great but I will still highlight the restaurant.

Very nice for the price, clean, mostly well kept, shows a bit of age. Grounds are nice between the buildings with flowering shrubs and palm trees. Many units are owned by individuals, so some have nice patios or balconies and some are bare. The restaurant was open and the food was good but pricey. There was a good lunch crowd and people hanging out there in the evening. The beach is gorgeous and there are 10 colorful palapas for guest use. Water is calm and clear, we snorkeled but there is not much to see in that area. Good beach for swimming. Pool was very clean and nice too. You can swim in the evening. Building is locked and gated, and a uniformed security guard walked around regularly. You need either an access key or to ring the bell and get buzzed in to enter the building. We had to wear an armband. Staff was very friendly and helpful. It’s a very quick drive to the marketplace for shops and restaurants, and the grocery store is very close too. Was disappointed that the shuffleboard court needs restoration. They really need to fix the chain link fence that is falling down and can be seen from the beach.

Room Tip: March is apparently a very busy month. The barbecues in the common area use charcoal.

There are different owners in this building. I’m sure each unit is different. So, I’m reviewing the complex itself. It’s an older building but nicely maintained. It does have an elevator which was nice too. The ground are beautiful and nicely maintained too. The pool awesome and just steps from the gorgeous sea. My greatest complaint is that there is NO RESTAURANT. It is advertised as having one but it’s been closed since 2016. There is not one morsel of food on the property!! The grocery is about 1.5 miles away. Our until had a great kitchen so we cooked every meal in the unit. There are no close restaurants either!! None. Going anyplace is by taxi or personal car. Or walking, which we did to the Port Lacaya Marketplace. The public bus is doable but it can be a long wait. The staff was very nice too. Security is always visible and it seems unlikely any problems within the property. We felt very safe.

We stayed in Coral Beach Condos from January 19-26th. This is the second time we have stayed in these condos - the first being several years ago. My brother and his family stayed in 3402 and we stayed in 3302. Despite the weather not cooperating, we had a great vacation with the family! Throughout our stay, we felt safe and were able to talk to the owners Kitty and Lianne Green whenever we need to. Kitty was onsite (staying in a different condo) and was so kind to us and very attentive to our needs. She wanted to make sure we had a great time! Thanks Kitty! It was also great having a front desk/security section at the entrance to check in and ask questions. Our condos were spacious and clean and had the essentials necessary for our weeklong stay. For anything else, the grocery store was a few minutes away by car. The beach, pool and shuffle board areas are onsite and in great shape and we had the luxury of having a Snack Bar by the pool where we could eat and be served by very friendly staff. There is a golf course a few minutes away where my brother and I enjoyed a round. Overall, we had a fabulous stay and we are look forward to going back!

We booked hotel for our employees, put through all company credit card detail and chose pay now. it is shown only that we need to pay for deposit and clean. But when our emplyee went to check in tonight, they need to pay again. If not, could not check in. And hotel staff left them when it is raining hard and give them the telephone number of other hotel. What does it mean? Did they sell the room to other? And I assumed that they would also charge to our company credit card even they could not stay at all.

If I ever come back to Freeport, I would stay at Coral Beach! I used Airbnb to find the studio we stayed in and would stay in that unit again which felt like an upscale hotel suite. Coral Beach is perfectly located: 15 minute walk from Lucayan Marketplace, not far from the airport, and RIGHT ON THE BEACH! It's a beautiful stretch of beach too. The pool bar has really good food (get the conch burger) and drinks. Patrick the bartender is awesome. We were on the 5th floor with a partial ocean view. Yes we could hear the water treatment plant but you're on the beach so that sound blended in with the ocean sounds and didn't bother us. Our unit was beautiful, check in was easy, great location and just yards from the beach. For my money, the only place to stay in Freeport!

Currently staying at coral beach and wanted to warn if you are thinking of renting an apartment here Ask which building it is in - we are in the 2nd building and our deck is opposite the water treatment plant. We hear the noise 24/7 making sitting in our deck disappointing - 2nd building is also the furthest away from beach/ocean

We just spent 2 weeks at Coral Seas Condos. It is going thru renovations still from the last hurricane but it is a lovely community! Would consider buying there! There is a nice pool that you have to pass to get out to the beach. Lots of tables - with or without umbrellas, chairs and lounge chairs! Then go enjoy the pristine beach just out side the gate. The are several security guards throughout the property. People on the Island are all so nice and the kids so polite! There are some beautiful units in these condos and some that need a lot more work. We would stay in a different unit than the 1 we did.
