We had a fantastic stay at unit 101. It's the best in the complex - quiet, right by the water, water view from EVERY window, beautifully decorated and super clean, perfect patio for meals, drinks, relaxing. Located at south end of 7 Mile Beach, so you walk 10 steps and you're on it. Far superior to cattle cars like the Marriott. Pool is large and extremely clean, two new large barbeque grills, new pool/beach side tables, chairs and umbrellas. Plenty of parking. All you need is in the kitchen- restaurants are easy to get to and will make you grateful you aren't staying at other hotels! This is the place to stay - we will return.

I was pleased with this property. Compared to the Westin or Marriott on 7 Mile beach, which have small rooms and are $1,000 a night, this was a better choice for a family of 4. Our unit included beach towels, bath towels, full kitchen amenities and a washer and dryer. The Royal Beach Club (about a mile from the Villa) was a nice place to rent umbrellas and beach chairs. Get there early (8am) to reserve your spot and beat out the cruise ship folks. The have a decent restaurant and bar too. We found many gluten free restaurants all over the island. The local people are very sweet and no one is trying to braid your hair, or sell you useless trinkets on the beach. The Caymans are very expensive, the local currency is CL and they drive on the other side of the road. Prepare to get an international plan on your cell phone while you are here. Also get a credit card that waives transaction fees. We rented a car and stayed here for 5 nights. It was a nice family vacation. Google what days the cruise ships are in town. Most days there are 7 ships and an additional 18,000 people. Which can impact tour availability and restaurant reservations. It’s very crowded on 7 mile beach, but those are the nicest beaches on the island. The other side is quiet and doesn’t have as many restaurants, but for those who like quiet, that might be a good choice. Rum Point has hammocks and a nice inlet beach too.

I stayed in Unit 318 which is on the top floor closest to the water on the left as you face the water. It was very nice with full amenities including 3 flat screen TVs. The WiFi worked great. I loved having a W/D and new kitchen appliances. The balcony had great views of the sunset. It is a bit of a hike to get to the third floor though. The unit has a digital keypad for entry. Being the low season, it was very quiet. I only saw maybe 5 or 6 groups the whole week. The whole complex is well maintained with a great wide open lawn area. The pool was very nice and appears to be well maintained. There is no beach per se. This area is bounded by coral reef and on land it’s called “iron shore.” With that being said, there is a walkway leading out to a ladder where you can enter the water. The water is about 5 feet deep there and it’s a good place to swim and snorkel. I saw a Caribbean Reef Octopus there. South of the complex about a 10 minute walk is the shipwreck Cali. You can see the Cali sticking up out of the water. Be sure and wear water shoes as the iron shore will tear your feet up. Alternatively, I snorkeled from the complex down to it. It’s shallow and safe. The wreck is teaming with life. There is no onsite office. I was given a contact number for a property representative and she responded well to my questions via phone and text. This is a no frills complex which I was looking for.

We really enjoyed our stay at Georgetown Villas unit 311. Easy walking to many places on the beach and in to Georgetown. Nice coral and many fish around the second buoy. Saw a large sting ray a bit further north from there. Gorgeous grounds and very quiet. Pool was warm and inviting and they had a tub to rinse snorkeling and scuba gear. The weather was phenomenal with daily temps in the low 80's and plenty of sunshine. It was a great vacation.

We enjoyed out stay at George Town Villas. The gas grills and pool are just steps away from this ground floor condo. The patio furniture was of good quality and we spent a lot of time either on the patio or at the pool. The grounds and buildings of this condo association are kept immaculate. I should also note that they had just replaced all the umbrellas around the pool with new high quality Sunbrella Fabric umbrellas. There is not a sandy beach area here but we found searching in the rocky shore for treasures and snorkeling great fun. There is a nice sandy beach located right next to the Wharf Restaurant, which is only a five minute walk away. Inside the condo was very clean and had no smell. The colors and décor were pleasing. The combined kitchen, dining and living area is a bit small but was not an issue for us. There were plenty of plates/silverware/pans/knives/utensils. It was nice to have a refrigerator with a filtered ice/water dispenser. We loved having the convenience of a dishwasher and washer and dryer. We never had a problem with the satellite TV or Wi-Fi. In fact, if you were at the pool and sat at the table nearest the condo, you could still use the Wi-Fi. The central air worked without ever a problem. The master bedroom was spacious with a very small bathroom that is ready for a renovation. It was clean but when the last remodel was done paint got on the tile around the tub, which also needs attention. The faucet for the single sink does not work well; it’s difficult to change the water temp. The second bedroom has two single beds and a tiny bathroom. It, too, was clean but ready for a remodel. At this location you do not need to rent a car. You can easily walk or use a bus for only $2.50 USD per person so very reasonable. A nice Kirk’s Supermarket is less than a ten minute walk away and a fresh fish market is located fifteen minutes away. Also, the dive/snorkel companies will come by and pick you up at no charge. The owner of this condo always responded quickly to any message/questions I sent to him. We never saw his manager, but I just figured with all the time we spent diving, on the patio or at the pool, if she had come by and knocked, we would not have heard her. Because of the location of this condo, its well-maintained property and the responsiveness of the owner, I would definitely rent this condo again.
