After nearly two years of not being able to travel, my Wife and I decided to follow the current trend a do a "staycation" on Virgin Gorda in the British Virgin Islands. We chose Rosewood Little Dix Bay Resort. Somewhere we had been to on many occasions for lunch or dinner, but somewhere we had never stayed. We chose a one bedroom suite, which comes with a plunge pool and butler service. We were not disappointed. Spacious with separate ensuite bedroom with indoor & outdoor showers, lounge area, walk-in closet and bar/coffee area. A good size outdoor deck leads to the oversized plunge pool with an unencumbered view of the Caribbean Sea and Virgin Gorda Peak. The suite was very well equipped with all of the amenities you would expect from a Rosewood 5 star resort and tastefully decorated with a coastal chic ambience. Varun our Butler proved to be an added bonus and was very attentive , courteous and efficient. A real asset to the Resort and a genuinely nice guy. We ate in all three of the resorts restaurants on different occasions during out stay. The Pavillion for an indulgent breakfast and a wonderful Indian inspired dinner. The Sugarmill for a lovely lunch and the Reef House for a marvelous dinner only inches from the beach and with a spectacular Sunset as a back-drop to our evening.

Just returned from an eight night stay at Rosewood little DIX Bay. Really cannot say enough great things about this resort and the staff. The renovation is gorgeous the property is more beautiful than ever. We stayed in the grand pool suite and was it ever grand. I wouldn’t change one thing about the room it was perfect. I believe this was new construction added to the property when Rosewood took over in 2017. The attention to detail and having it blend in with the original resort was outstanding. I thought the tile wall in the bathroom mimicking the original rock walls from Rockefellers “rock resort“ architecture was a very nice touch. I am including pictures of the bathroom because it is not showing on the website and it is gorgeous. The outdoor shower has the original rock style wall and you can see the interior modern take on this. The resort itself is situated on a lovely private bay with a white sand beach and ample shade for those who want it. We were blessed with gorgeous sunsets every night we stayed. The resort is just getting going after a Covid shut down so the occupancy was low while we visited. Nonetheless The resort was staffed fully with every amenity available to the few guests who were there. It is very challenging to get there due to restrictions from the BVI government, but it was so worth it. The butler feature really makes the experience special. We had a tagteam of two highly qualified service professionals, Prada and Rodney made sure that everything we needed or wanted was accommodated in the most gracious way. Highly recommend to anyone who wants a pristine relaxing place to reconnect And recharge post pandemic!

Outstanding place with unsurpassed beauty and service . Fabulous beach. And all three restaurants were excellent. The resort has butlers assigned to each guest and it really makes for personal service and saves you the time and headache of making reservations for restaurants , taxis, water sports , etc. Now that BVI Covid restrictions are being eased , it definitely is worth visiting this property.

Just returned from a week at Little Dix Bay and we are so glad we navigated all of the Covid paperwork and tests for a few days in this beautiful place. The hotel staff were extremely helpful in aiding us to secure our BVI travel certificates pre-arrival (reach out to them if the BVI portal is being unresponsive) and checking on our in-country tests. The resort itself is beautiful and our one room pool suite was so nice, it would have made a week quarantine easily bearable. The only caveat is that the beachfront near our room was not easily swimmable, not like the rooms near the resteraunts but we did see lots of turtles. Our butlers, Reddy and Allan were so kind and accommodating. They made our stay all the much more better and even hosted a private anniversary dinner for us at the spa at sunset. We will forever remember it and were so grateful for their hard work. Aileen (sp?) in room service was so gracious and kind and Nettie was always greeting us at the Pavillion with a bright smile and post-meal song (thanks for sharing your beautiful gift with us!). The only minor issue we had was of the condition of the hot tub at the spa - we would have liked to use it but they weren't maintaining/heating it. Also, keep in mind not all of the restraunts are open each day which makes for a limited food experience. Not a big deal - just good to keep in mind. We rented a Moke (so fun!) to explore, also keep in mind not much to do as the island is still recovering from the impacts of Covid and Irma. Overall, a great stay and we hope to be back someday.

What makes this place so memorable is the staff. Of course it's physically beautiful, the food outstanding and the weather glorious. But it's the staff that make the magic and given the constraints of Covid our recent trip could not have been better. They are professional, personal, kind, generous of spirit and fun. Our butlers, Allan and Reddy were unfailingly responsive, and make all the arrangements for us from boat trips to Covid testing. Our in room dining (short Covid quarantine) server, Shona was amazing, housekeeping staff were perfect and the dining room wait staff are the kind of people you dream about! We will be back. For us, coming from the state of Maine, in the US, getting there was a bit difficult but oh, so worth it.
