We didn’t stay at the hotel but our villa’s owner has a condo on the property so this was the beach we went to. It’s truly paradise! I tend to avoid hotel restaurants because I’d prefer a “local” one. Plus since Wyndham is a chain hotel, I was admittedly shying away from eating at the restaurant. However, we ate multiple lunches and a few dinners at the Dove Restaurant. The service cannot be beat! We loved all the wait staff. The food was always fantastic. Plus you cannot beat the view!

Check in was quick. Upon entering the room, the driver said he had to come back and see about the lock for the front door, the toilet was not 'cleaned' or 'refreshed', had to call hksp. Television was not hooked up to internet, so had to call engineer which took about an hour to arrive, then 15 minutes to hook up the internet to television which made us late for dinner. Dinner and breakfast was great, so was the staff. Geeta, Sharon, Curl and the St. Lucian waiter (can't remember his name). Karema was awesome with assisting before I checked in. (Didn't meet her but the phone etiquette was 10/10). Overall the stay was ok. (6/10). Just need a little more attention to detail.

The staff is very nice and kind. Ignore the reviews about the restaurant food is good service is not slow. Try the lemonade it is delicious. Now for the room bed is very comfortable. Shower was very good. Loved having the tea kettle in the room. The so called refrigerator never really kept anything cold. The ocean view is blocked by trees. Beach is nice but someone needs to clean the seaweed. Pool area is very chill and water was warm.

Listen, we travel, a lot. Never write reviews but I feel I have to after being almost done with our vacay. 1. Property has potential but falls completely short. It’s almost like it’s closed but really open if that makes sense. No maintenance on the property, the pool or the beach. It’s like WTF. 2. Same menu for every meal. Zero variety and expensive. Extremely slow and unorganized. Zero consistency. Almost need to beg for coffee and than when you get it you need to beg for milk (they don’t have cream). 3. The suite we have is nice but kinda dirty. They don’t refill anything (soap/shampoo, etc.) unless you ask. The area outside our room is overgrown and unkept. Again like they are closed but really open. WTF. Bed was comfy, I’ll give them that. 3. The pool has algae and I guess one of the pumps is broke. Figures, lol. We’ve never seen one person walk through the pool area and straighten up the chairs or anything. Again, as if the place is closed but really open, WTF. 4. Just went to the vending machine. Total broke and the choices were horrible anyways. As though they are closed but really open. 5. All staff is in zombie mode. Lack of emotion, concern or basically anything. Again, like they are closed but really open. WTF 6. I did get a massage and it was good. He wasn’t a zombie. This is just about the hotel, not about our excursions because they were fun. All in all, a lot better Islands to go to. Won’t be back to this one. Sorry not sorry. WTF PS, this island is more for off shore live a boards to stop for for their provisions and what not in our opinion.

We gave up the boat and caught a cab to the Wyndham Tortola Lambert Beach Resort on the North side of Tortola, which we had viewed sailing by a few days ago. A very nice place with top notch accommodations and a fantastic beach. The resort consists of seven single story buildings with 6 large single entry plush bedrooms in each modern building (total of 42 rooms in the resort). The buildings are situated in a nicely scattered arrangement between the sea and a large swimming pool. The hotel receptionist noted they were at 70% occupancy this Saturday night weekend as there is several locals staying the weekend for two different birthday parties. On the other side of the pool and restaurant are 7 two-story additional buildings, each with 4 unit (consisting of a living room / kitchen / bedroom arrangement per unit) which Tom understand are most likely condos (They all appeared to be empty due to the current Covid quarantine issue in the BVI's.). Our night’s stay was a very reasonable $138. Going to give this place a 4.5 Hinge rating (scale of 0-5) because of the inside newish quality of the room and surrounding amenities / environment. Bud noted the newness of the rooms is that everything had been rebuilt following the 2017 hurricane Irma. Walked the beautiful beach and had drinks and lunch around the pool, followed with a little computer log time and a long shower in a BIG (compared to the boat) bathroom. Had dinner at the resort outside dining area. The food was good but it took forever to receive our dinners, as there was a LARGE group of local Islanders here for the weekend; celebrating someone’s birthday. For the last two weeks we have had no opportunity to view any TV, so it has been nice to not to have been plagued with any "BREAKING NEWS". Here at the resort the nice big screen room TV ONLY gets NETFLIX, and I do not know if NETFLIX has recently upgraded or is it a different venue of shows down here in the BVI's, as the menus of available shows / subjects / movies appears to be more massive than at home. OH to sleep in a nice Big King bed after the 11 days of sailing and the sleeping accommodations of the queen bed aboard. Yvonne noted the bed last night was so soft and comfy " It was DELICIOUS. Had an 8 AM breakfast at the resort restaurant The Turtle Restaurant and Bar. and it took close to two hours for us to get our food. The explanation was it was Sunday, there was only one cook AND that they were preparing for Sunday brunch, plus the cook also prepared orders for room service.
