Stayed 9 nights, all inclusive. Great location on the beach, a bit old proberty but well maintained. Our room Deluxe Beach Front King was big and always very well cleaned. Great sunsets from balcony. Food is ok, but often slow kitchen service, local cocktails and non-alcoholic cocktails are very good. Good size pool. All personnel was polite and friendly. However, there was one person above all at the hotel. We called her ”Miss Sunshine”. She always greeted us with a warm smile and made us so welcome each time we entered restaurant, no matter if she waitered on our table or not. She is Curlis, a real treasure in the team. Greetings, big thanks and all the best from Sari and Kimmo.

Hotel's Favourite
We had a perfect week at Bay Gardens Beach Resort in March 2023. We have travelled all over the caribbean and this resort is our new favourite. The island itself is breathtaking wiht scenic beaches on a backdrop of hilly countryside. The resort is small and ideal for those not wanting the mega resorts. We thought it was great for couples, families and children. It is very well managed and the service was excellent. Pros -beautiful stretch of beach with clear waters -good amount of shade and beach chairs -large clean rooms, with great A/C, strong hair-dryer, good water pressure -delicious food, mostly a-la-carte and made fresh -good kids menu for food -amazing drinks at the bar, very fancy cocktails! -pool was clean, clear, warm, perfectly situated -great entertainment at nights, the fire show was a hit -good water sports -very close and walking distance to local restaurants and shops -excellent upgrades for those staying all-inclusive (can eat out at local restaurants, spa vouchers) -very friendly staff in particular Hilaria, Curlis, Marvon and Fabiola Cons -a-la-carte food takes a long time to arrive -dessert not always availalble or very limited options -shower in the bathroom sprays water everywhere -bathroom towels very hard, fabric softner could help Other quick tips - Ladies your hair straightener cannot plug in to their outlet, but you can ask the front desk for a converter. Lots of beach vendors selling food if you don't do all inclusive. The drive to and from the airport takes about 1.5-2h. Splash park is included with your stay, the kids liked it. We found the best rates are offered through the hote, so consider booking directly, instead of a package. We loved it here and felt that it was the perfect resort for our family. We felt safe and welcomed. We will definitely be coming back.

Spent a night at the Bay Gardens Beach Resorts & Spa for a birthday celebration and everything was just perfect 🙌🏽. Top tier suite, amazing meals, friendly staff and extraordinary entertainment. The sparkling wine the staff surprised us with in our room was just exquisite 🍾. Dinner was too die for 😫 We had so much fun doing both motorized and non motorized sport at the beautiful and calm beach. My fav part was when both my partner and I won the bingo competitions and were gifted local Saint Lucian souvenirs 🇱🇨🛍️🎉. Will definitely be heading back soon and I highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Glorious beach and cute and clean resort. The bartenders can make several great drinks. Unfortunately, the food was very hit and miss. The kitchen needs some help! I say this after waiting 50 minutes for 2 burgers, and a pizza at lunch at 2 pm! The wait staff was always wonderful and provided excellent service, when the food was available.

We are just back from 10 days at the Bay Gardens Beach Resort, a busy, vibrant vibe not so much a relaxing quiet retreat. Overall we had a fantastic holiday and experienced much of what the island has to offer including the essential Friday night street party. I'd also highly recommend the Sunset Pitons trip which was a 1pm pickup, afternoon sail to the Pitons, snorkel at Sugar Bay resort and then a party atmosphere on the catamaran on the way back arriving around 7pm. Plus a water taxi to Pigeon island for $20 was well worth it, we hiked up to the fort and second peak then cooled off with a cold drink at the Jambe de Bois cafe and a snorkel in the beautiful bay. Also recommend walking to the end of the beach to visit Maries bar for a local experience of St Lucia hospitality. Hotel Highs; *Great location, easy 10 mins walk into Rodney Bay town, next door to Spinnakers restaurant *Clean rooms and facilities *Friendly chatty restaurant staff *Huge choice of cocktails and drinks, water always available from dispenser *Security on beach always provided loungers and umbrella, happy to help *A la carte restaurant for lunch and dinner - excellent quality tasty food, shame about the wait *Hobie Cats and SUPs available from 9-15.30 *Spa massages were lovely but difficult to book an ideal time - perhaps because of cruise/day passes Hotel Challenges: *Slow service for food, even when the restaurant was quiet there was often a 45-60 minute wait. One day we had to wait 2 hours to be served a wrap for lunch, would have rather spent the time on the beach *Cruise ship guests invade the beach some days, rows of loungers packed in like sardines, also using hotel facilities which delays the service for hotel guests *Noise all the time - either from the pool music or guests using their own speakers on the beach or chatting loudly in groups *A lot of locals trying to sell their items on the beach, some were really nice and you were happy to chat to them and get to know them. A few others were aggressive and/or seemed to be unstable. We didn't feel threatened though *Towel hut staff were always very grumpy and sometimes the towels were frayed or bleach marked

This is our third trip to Bay Garden Beach Resort & Spa and it never disappoints! The resort is located in Rodney Bay, offering beautiful beaches and outstanding views. You will find local cuisine, loads of activities (including water sports and splash island), and clean, comfortable rooms.. but what makes this resort extra special are the people. From the entertainment team (offering aqua fitness, manager's party, and karaoke), Coral Kidz Club (where the ladies are kind, flexible and enthusiastic), to the warm, welcoming smiles and attentiveness of reception, housekeeping and those who working non-stop at Hi-Tide and Pebbles.. We have made some wonderful memories and some great friends!

I booked a day pass excursion at Bay Gardens on January 21st to take place on March 5th - plenty in advance. I was really looking forward to a special time at St. Lucia. The poor performance began at the point of pick up - it took probably 45 minutes past the scheduled time to finally get going. The minivan was packed with everyone headed to the resort and the A/C was NOT working. Check in was ok, a bit sluggish. Upon arrival at the beach, I found no available beach chairs or umbrellas. It was raining that morning off and on. After speaking with the attendant who informed me that there were no chairs because the resort was overbooked that day, I went to speak with the manager. Since I booked this tour through Vacations To Go (VTG), I called the contact provided in the contract, but to my disappointment, all they could tell me was to speak with the property manager, which I did. Long story short, 1.5-2 hours later I received a chair and umbrella. Manager said they loaned chairs from other properties to aid with the shortage. I said why did your staff tell me there were no chairs? She couldn't answer that. All she came back with after speaking with the general manager is to offer an extra drink. Wowza! I am non-drinker, so what does that do for me? It didn't solve my original concern. By the time I got chair and umbrella, all I wanted to do is go back to the ship. Distracted, while chasing staff and complaining to manager who leisurely attended to my complaints, I received 1st degree sun burns, so needless to say no more Bay Gardens for me. I expected the property qualify to be lacking, but telling the paying customer who booked in advance "sorry, we are sold out" is not ok in any country. Mind you, this was the most expensive excursion out of 5 that I booked between 5 islands and the worst. I disputed the 135.00 USD I spent on Bay Gardens with the bank. .

Thank you for choosing Bay Gardens Beach Resort and Spa. We truly regret that your experience did not meet the high standards we strive to uphold at Bay Gardens Beach Resort and Spa on 5th March 2024. Your feedback is incredibly important to us, and we investigated your claim before responding because we were deeply disappointed to hear that we fell short of your expectations. As it relates to your account of the discomfort of the packed minivan without functioning AC, we spoke to other guests in the shared taxi provided, and they encountered a different experience to yours about the AC and its functionality. It appears from other accounts that the AC in the vehicle worked fine. When guests are picked up from the port in Castries, there is a scheduled time for pick up, and a list of persons to be picked up. On the day of your scheduled day pass on March 5, we had several groups of 8 people and more, and the driver must identify everyone to ensure that nobody is left behind. We are sorry if this procedure created an inconvenience for you. On arrival at the property, there is a registration process, and everyone must be provided with vouchers and necessary information before proceeding with day passes. This process cannot be compromised, and we need to ensure that everyone is registered so our valued guests do not experience any hiccups when they proceed to dine or enjoy scheduled activities. We apologize for the miscommunication regarding the availability of chairs and the delay in resolving the issue to your satisfaction. Beach Chairs are readily available, and if chairs are not available on the beach, the team will return with more chairs so everyone has a chair and is comfortable. We take the comfort of our guests very seriously and strive to ensure that every guest is happy. We understand your decision not to return to Bay Gardens Beach Resort and respect your choice. However, we hope that you will reconsider and give us another opportunity to provide you with the exceptional service and experience you deserve. Please feel free to reach out to us directly if you would like to discuss this matter further. Once again, we apologize for the inconvenience and disappointment you experienced, and we thank you for bringing the challenges you encountered to our attention.

We had a super holiday at the Bay Garden Beach and Spa. We were staying in a top (2nd) floor Garden Room (no lift), but not too strenuous a climb. There is currently building work going on opposite these rooms at the moment while they construct more rooms and an additional pool. Prior to our trip I was a bit worried this may spoil the holiday but there really wasn't much activity going on the site and it is completely away from the pool area. There is hoarding around the site and it is only the ground floor garden rooms that have no view at all. The 1st and 2nd floors can see over the hoarding and you can see the sea beyond. The room was a little dated, the wardrobe door was a bit stiff to open and close, but the room was clean and we got fresh towels and beds made daily. The pool area was clean and they do have a guy playing various tunes, but not so loud that you can't relax with a book. There are activities such as pool aerobics, yoga, craft, karaoke which we didn't get involved with, but it's there if it takes your fancy. The buffet breakfasts were great, lots of variety. Lunch was either a BBQ with the option of burger or chicken, with a buffet of salad bar, fries, rice, local creole food or an a la carte menu. Evenings were either a la carte, or they had a Caribbean buffet night and a Saturday night BBQ with fire limbo/dancers which were fun. The beach and restaurant (lunchtime) got very busy on certain days that the cruise liners came in to Castries port then bused to the hotel on a day pass. On these days we learned to eat early to avoid a long wait, however this would only be on a la carte days, as when it was buffet you could serve yourself. Beach vendors: there is a guy that sells coconuts with rum (his call is 'Rum in da coconut!' and a few guys selling wooden crafts and jewellery. One of their calls is 'ooh lala' which we found amusing. My top tip is to buy a bracelet on your first day (I paid 20 ECD = approx £6) and wear it every time you go to the beach, as they then didn't bother us at all! Also watch out for the aloe Vera guy, as he started rubbing it on my back as he saw i was a bit red, even though I said I had no money on me. He pulled my bikini straps down to apply the aloe to my shoulders, at the amusement of my boyfriend. Cheeky! Then said he would come back later for payment. That bit of leaf ended up costing me 30 ECD = approx £9! Overall, we had a really enjoyable holiday, lots of cocktails and mocktails, yum!

My girlfriend and I were very pleasantly surprised by our experience at Bay Gardens. Our room was very clean and the housekeepers did a great job. The staff was all very friendly and made an effort to be personable and ensure that we enjoyed our time there. The location right on the beach was awesome. The food at High Tide restaurant and the drinks were great. Also highly recommend booking the Catamaran Tour excursion.
