This was our second visit to Halcyon Beach and we were as impressed as we were the first time. Martina and her whole team do an amazing job at making this a real paradise treat.

The hotel was clean and well kept.
The food was varied and scrumptious. Across the three resorts there was every type of food you could imagine.
The staff was incredibly helpful and polite AND SOOOOOO friendly. The highlight for me as how the staff made...More

Booked Sandals Halcyon Beach for my wifes 50th Birthday and unfortunately have to say we were both very underwhelmed by the whole Sandals experiences , this resort is not 5 star and and it is not luxurious , it has stunning gardens with average rooms...More
The wedding planner and staff at the Sandals Halcyon Beach Resort were stellar! Since this wedding was our family's first one, we were new to everything. Our daughter's Wedding planner, was absolutely amazing. She was hands on the whole time with a smile and caring,...More

I had heard that there may be some interesting new developments in the Quiet Pool area. When you consider that Sandals completely rebuilt a Hurricane wrecked Hotel in three months it seem that a lot of work is planned at the quiet pool.
There is adequate ground beside the Quiet Pooll to allow construction of a Pub, Which I think will be more along the lines of an English Pub serving typical Pub Grub and will therefore have full cooking / catering services attached to it.
Building this in conjunction with the closure of the quiet pool makes a lot of sense.
Cafe de Paris, could be constructed at the quiet pool area, but that is not where I would have thought it would be located.
There are two areas at the Bayside restaurant that,in my opinion would be much more centrally located and accessed from the main pool for a Cafe de Paris.
Having had numerous experiences of Sandals renovations they will not impact on guests enjoyment of their stay, unless you want to specifically count the number of noise events.
We are booked for two trips to Halcyon and are going anyway, and don't expect to be bothered in the slightest, except that we are booked in for one trip that looks like being included in the renovations. Getting Moved will add to the excitement of the holiday.

We had a poor holiday due to noise in the main pool area, even the so-called ‘quiet’ pool is next to a dual-carriageway... if you are going to Halcyon Beach for tranquillity you will be disappointed, it will be even more frustrating with only the pool next to the main bar open... check out our HONEST review... good luck!
