My boyfriend and I have raved about legends since our last vacation. Great stay for a budget hotel, I think we ended up paying around $44 a night. We stayed on the other side of the beach road which we thought would be weird at first but it was half the price to stay on that side and it takes 30 seconds to get across, still less time to get to the beach than at a large resort. The staff was so friendly and felt as if we were getting a true authentic experience more so than the all inclusive resorts. There was an all inclusive option but we didn’t choose to do that as most of the days we were out and about and only spent the mornings and evenings at the hotel. They have a great happy hour, 2 for $4 drinks, and an all you can eat dinner buffet for $15 which includes drinks. The best part of the stay is the location it is on the most BEAUTIFUL beach I’ve ever seen in my life, picture perfect sands and waters and a great area to swim. Also this side of the island has the most beautiful sunsets I’ve ever seen in my life. The room itself was clean and did its job, nothing super luxurious but we came to explore and enjoy the culture more so than to just sit at a pool resort all day. We did have to walk to the market to buy shampoo and conditioner, not a big deal but just something to note. At first I was a bit overwhelmed by the locals trying to sell to us but after a day or two they got to know us and would just say hi. Overall I had such a memorable stay and when we come back someday to visit we will 100% be booking here again!

Thank you for this great 5-Star review, we’re happy to hear from all our guests. It’s especially nice when a nice couple like you take the time to give us feedback on how we’re doing. As a small boutique hotel we strive to provide a clean, comfortable room with a warm welcome and relaxing, restful atmosphere. We’re glad you had the opportunity to explore and appreciate 7-Mile Beach. It has been voted one of the world’s best and we’re blessed to be able to share it with you. It’s great to hear how you adjusted to the locals who are often eager to offer their wares but are ultimately warm and friendly people. Thank you again for the great review and for choosing to stay with us at the Legends Beach Hotel.

Stayed here the first part of June. It was wonderful. The staff is outstanding--especially Kendrick and Millicent. After going to several other restaurants we found that the food and service here was the best. If you don't want to stay at a resort with hundreds of other people then this is the place for you!

So firstly let me say I never booked to go to Legends i booked for samsara at last minute they changed us claiming that they werent open. The place was shabby n neeed work done. We paid for an all inclusive package when we got to the bar they said we could only get house rum. Which I have no clue wat that is we have to plea to get appleton. Ok after drinks I head to my room so I paid for a superior ocean view room what I got to my room it was a garden view or kuyaba view kuyaba is a hotel nxt door. Nxt thing the ac didnt wrk and the tv channel cant be changed. Upon entering my room there was a puddle of water that I had to step through and everytime I walked into my room I had water dripping in my head. Then let's talk abt the food the salads had too much black pepper dinner wasnt so bad. Oh the toilet in the room wasnt sealed down so everytime u sat or got up everybody know.  This place was by far awful. Then we where moved to another room in the pouring rain. Our new room the tv hardly worked and then upon going out and come back in we see where the toilet ran over and almost flooded the room. This by far has been my worst stay in Negril. And we weren't even compensated given that the price we paid for samsara was more expensive than legends. The only good things were Leonie and kenrick who tried there best to make our awful stay nt so bad.

Wondering if the all inclusive deal at Legends includes alcohol. On their page it says "local non alcoholic drinks included". I've never heard of an all inclusive plan without alcohol. Also, my reservation is for the beach front...does this mean we are on the same side as the beach. We are old and don't want to cross the street. Thank you for any input. Love us some Negril♡

Hi Paula! Thanks for your great question. Yes alcoholic drinks are included in the all-inclusive plan at Legends Beach Hotel and you can also come visit Samsara Cliff Resort where you have access to the facilities as well as food and drink. There is a free shuttle at 10 am and 4 pm between Legends and Samsara for your convenience. If your reservation is for beachfront then your room will not be across the street. Feel free to call us at the number on our listing above and we can check your reservation for more details. Looking forward to welcoming you to Legends real soon!
