First time visiting Jamaica, hubby and I travelled with another couple who have been to Negril numerous times.  Our stay at Skylark Hotel was so nice - Our room was extremely comfortable, and the restaurant on the property (Miss Lily’s) was fantastic! The beach out front was spectacular – the water was so warm and inviting, wonderfully shallow and blue on blue on blue on blue!  At least 5 shades. Our suggestion is to get up early and take a lovely walk along the waters edge.  We got some fantastic photos of the stunning water, and soft white sand in the early morning, it was as though we had the entire beach to ourself. Don’t forget to order a “Dirty Banana” cocktail at Miss Lily’s – probably the best foo foo drink I’ve ever had!  It just rounded out the wonderful vibe.

The experience at SKYLARK was “top notch” . Excellent customer service & professionalism. Located in the heart of 7 mile beach, you would be at comfort and 💯 safety. All areas had sanitizing stations and staff were all masked up. Once you moved around, you had to follow all protocols. The rooms were chic, rustic very clean and spacious. We enjoyed our patio . The beaches are maintained: Miss Lily’s Restaurant & bar influenced by multi - winning chopped Jamaican chef Andrew Fowles. Trust me it is a hit . Skylark made me fall inlove with NEGRIL again and I will return very soon , already missing there.

We stayed for 3 nights with a group of friends. Great location. Basic room but very clean and roomy enough. 'm giving this a "5" but I would not say this is a 5-star luxury resort. This is more of an older beach front classic. I feel it's a good value. Fridge was full of beverage selections and snack were plentiful and not as expensive as I've seen in other hotels. Staff was professional. Only a couple rooms are actual beach front but you're not going to spend any time in the room as the beach is perfect. We were pleased with our meals at the hotel restaurant. Hotel has a couple of complimentary stand up paddle boards. You' you to be in the room for the AC to work so you'll have to cool it down a bit each time you return. No elevator but they will carry your bags up to 2nd floor if needed.

I just got back from Negril. I stayed at Skylark for 4 nights. 3 nights in the oceanfront room (#101) and 1 night in the upstair balcony room. Skylark is an amazing place to stay. So comfortable. Affordable. Safe. And just the right vibe for a trip to Negril. I stayed at Skylark solo and never once felt unsafe. A friend was staying at the Rockhouse Hotel (the sister hotel) and we hopped back and forth to take advantage of each other's amenities. They have a free shuttle that will take you to the Rockhouse daily at 11:15am and 2:30pm. Otherwise the ride will cost you $10. The staff is extremely nice and helpful. The rooms were comfortable and very clean. I don't know if it was the fresh ocean air or not but I found myself in bed and asleep every night by 10pm, which is early for me. The sleep was deep and comfortable. There are plenty of beach chairs and tents (vs umbrellas) for the guest. Finding a spot to lounge for hours is not a problem. You can also get service from Miss Lilly's and enjoy a cocktail or breakfast on the beach if you choose to do so. To get to the hotel from MBJ airport we booked with Kenny Tours. Leaving the hotel to head back to the airport the ladies at the hotel set up us with a ride with Dowie Splendid Tours Ja. Both drivers were great. They shared stories about the areas we drove through. The ride was about 2hours. I can't say enough about this vacation except that I will be back. I've been to other parts of Jamaica and I will say right now, Negril and the experience at Skylark are now at the top of my list of favorites.

Booked a week for our 20th anniversary and had the best time. We have been visiting Negril for over 20 years and we both agreed that this trip was the best. The staff are top notch, very helpful and a lot of fun. Food is simply amazing... from the breakfast specials to the snapper sandwich at lunchtime and then the jerk chicken or Oxtail..delish and if you go you must try the Jerk corn! We booked the "getaway"special and that included 2 spa treatments bottle of Bubbly and Covid tests as well as 2 nights free. Exceptional week at Skylark and I cannot wait to go back. Likkle more Skylark :)
