Americans stay away! This is NOT how I imagined spending time in Montego Bay. The websites pictures and amenities are a downright lie. The worst motel in L.A. doesn’t even come close to this atrocity. First of all, it seems like an abandoned building or a rundown “resort” that has seen its better days back in the 60’s. And the rooms still have the same furniture from the era, I’m willing to bet. There is NO WIFI in the rooms, except by the front desk. There is NO Working AC. The ac unit in the room was probably also from the 60’s, as it was rundown, moldy, dusty, a broken control knob. The whole vibe of the place is “suspect,” as it does not feel safe nor reassuring, especially since the resort is very isolated in the side of the highway, and it’s a good $20-$25 USD cab ride to the nearest store. In both directions. Oh, and get this: i paid $80 USD from margaritaville to this “resort!” And the taxi man had the nerve to say, if you’d like to throw in a TIP, by all means. Smh! The “pool” had visible garbage floating in it and who knows the last time ANYONE has set a foot in there. The paint was chipping all in and around the room. Very distasteful. I’ve never wanted to leave a vacation spot so quickly in my life!! There is nothing to purchase there on the grounds, not even a vending Machine. So you’ll starve all day if you don’t bring your own food and drinks. Just don’t. Please, there are better B&B’s all over the place!

There is little or no service. For a "resort" there's no place to get meals, not even a morning cup of coffee. The room is equivalent to a three hour truck stop motel. Bathtub and toilet untidy, air condition control taped to the wall and has broken "on/off" switch and no way to regulate the temp.. No phone nor WiFi in room, television bearly works. On the positive side, the watchman and the scarce staff are friendly and try to provide their best service and information, the view and privacy is worth the upgrade from poor to average.

'Hot tub' was empty, no working wifi, tv barely worked, ceiling fan was hanging by the electrical wires and my husband and I found bugs in the bed! The staff was very rude. Will not be staying here again.

Kind was the watchman on duty when we arrived in the evening. The view from the balcony was a spectacular place to watch the sunrise and sunset. Visible were fisherman who travel on surfboard. Our favorite feature was that the management was kind enough to let us use the kitchen to cook up a fantastic Jamaican style meal! Now that's hospitality.
