The Zoetry Curacao Resort & Spa garners mixed feedback from guests. While some appreciate the comfortable rooms and the resort's cleanliness, others have encountered problems with room cleanliness and service quality. Many guests find the service slow and disorganized, leading to disappointment regarding the value for the price. Although the location offers tranquil snorkeling experiences, opinions on its suitability vary. The atmosphere swings from peaceful to dull, with noise disturbances at times. Travelers also appreciate access to amenities at the sister resort, despite some dissatisfaction with Zoetry's own offerings.

We went to Zoetry for our babymoon and really enjoyed the is island vibe and people here. It cost 20$USD to go to town and 20$USD back to the hotel (they have shopping stores, fruit market, pharmacy, art, etc).

Pro: easy to go around with the golf cart (less than 5 minutes wait mostly each time),staff are super nice, service is always fast (only had one room service experience that was very slow), room are new ,big and trendy, the resort is very calm overall, there is few iguanas and few cute cats on the resort, pretty much an adult only resort (only seen about 3 kids in the 1 week that we were there), wifi works from everywhere on the resort, private zoetry beach in construction but mostly no construction or noise (it will be their high end pods part of Zoetry on the beach),they have extra pillows including maternity ones that made my life much better, room cleaning everyday, mini bar filled up everyday, turn down done each night including a chocolate on the pillow, water is transparent in Curacao (snorkelling free from the Dreams hotel )and you can see plenty of fishes.

Con: no fruits at the bar, not a very big menu choice for vegetarian, food is better at the Zoetry than the Dreams, restaurants at Dreams and Zoetry seams to sometimes be open and sometimes closed (there is always few open but still it’s strange as it show that they are open 7/7 on the app), transfer to our hotel took over 30 minutes so we decided to grab a cab because i was really hot and i am 24 weeks pregnant.

When we read the review here we got a bit scared but really we had an amazing time here and would recommend. We do travel a lot and i do not consider it as a 5 stars resort but at least a 4 starts!

Dear Blouin_andrea, Thank you for taking the time to leave such a wonderful review of your recent babymoon stay at Zoetry Curacao Resort & Spa. We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed the island vibe and the friendliness of our staff. We are thrilled that you found our resort to be calm and relaxing, and that you were able to take advantage of the amenities we offer, such as our golf cart transportation, room amenities, and turn down service. We appreciate your feedback regarding the lack of fruit at the bar and the limited vegetarian menu options, and we will certainly take this into consideration as we continue to improve our offerings. We are pleased to hear that you found the room to be modern and comfortable, and that you enjoyed the daily cleaning and minibar refreshment. We are excited to hear that you were able to experience the crystal-clear waters of Curacao and the abundance of marine life. We are sorry to hear that you encountered some inconvenience with restaurant closures and transfer time, but we are glad that it did not detract from your overall enjoyment of your stay. Thank you for your recommendation and for considering our resort as a destination. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back soon for another unforgettable experience. Warm regards, Bras da Silva Lucas. Assistant social media coordinator & eConcierge.

The positives: We really liked the spacious rooms, huge TVs and bathrooms. Housekeeping was usually very good but forgot to refill the fridge and replace hand towels. The grounds, pool area and lobby are lovely. Many staff were friendly. Short golf cart away from a beautiful beach at Dreams which we enjoyed as well as their tours offered. Curacao is a beautiful island and has a lot of activities to offer. Zoetry has beach beds set up but drinks and food service takes a long time. Concierge staff was very helpful getting taxis and making reservations. We enjoyed the food at the restaurants although selection was limited. The food at the Botanical poolside restaurant was particularly great but only open twice per week. We loved the saxophone player but that was also a couple times a week.
To be improved: The service is very slow, at times forgetting items ordered and serving us at lunch one at a time. This is due to lack of staff. Tonight, a bartender was no where to be found at the whole resort at 10 pm. This is not acceptable at a 5 star all inclusive. The bars did not have dark beer at all, the red wines were not good and they ran out of basics like limes too. There is only one restaurant open at a time which also is very limiting. The pool area is nice and lush but there is no poolside drink service offered, and a total lack of atmosphere. No music. More umbrellas for shade are needed for dining outdoors. We booked a tropical master suite. It was noisy on our balcony from the road traffic and we were not offered an upgrade even though the resort was empty. We could have opted to upgrade to a pool view for a cost. The spa had no towels and the shampoo and conditioner dispensers were empty. Golf cart service to Dreams ends at 11 pm.
Overall this hotel was nice and comfortable but could be exceptional if service and attention to detail were improved. We are used to Palace hotels and this was not as good. When speaking with other guests that have stayed at Zoetry’s, they told us they were also disappointed. We hope this specific feedback can be used to improve the resort as it has a lot of potential.

This was a new hotel that just opened several months before we arrived. It is a small 5 star hotel that was overall a wonderful experience. There were only a few guests at the time so it felt as though we had the hotel to ourselves. The rooms were large and very clean and nicely decorated. On the first night the shower leaked and they had it repaired within 30 min. The pool area was always clean and well staffed and we were always served drinks and food quickly. There were a few issues however. The mosquitoes were very persistent, especially if you ate outside. Use the bug spray they provided, especially on your feet. This was an all inclusive reservation and although the food that was offered was very good, the food choices were very limited and they had only one main restaurant at night so we ended up eating pretty much the same things everyday. There was no beach area but you could use the Dreams Hotel next door for the beach and food if you liked but the Zoetry certainly felt more exclusive. I think they are building out a beach area.
We can't say enough about the staff. In the end we felt that the wonderful staff really made most of the issues less important. The front desk was always helpful and arranged activities and COVID tests and let us stay beyond checkout time when our flight was delayed. The entertainment coordinator was very sweet and tried to make everyone feel at home. The staff at the restaurant and pool area always made sure we had drinks and food quickly. There was a turn down service with fresh towels and chocolates at night.
Even with the few issues of a new hotel we would certainly go back again. Loved the staff the most and they they made the hotel a very enjoyable stay!

I usually do lots of solo trips and this time I chose Zoetry for my dec trip mainly because of the aesthetic and funnily this time I didn’t even read reviews before booking (my mistake). I took a chance and sadly I was very disappointed especially at this price point and I surely wasn’t the only guest feeling that way then.

The resort itself is beautiful, nice style/aesthetic and the room was spacious and very comfy. However, cleaning service wasn’t on point. I checked in and there were dirty sticky mugs placed in tray as if they were clean, floors aren’t swept, bath mat is sometimes forgotten, stained blanket cover not changed, blanket cover quality seemed very used and had marks and to top it all dirty empty plates/ drink cups weren’t taken out.

Resort is very small, bars don’t seem to open early. 9/10am and I still didn’t see any bartender at the lobby bar. I didn’t feel like at a 24/7 all inclusive resort. Good thing the pool is 24/7 access but pool towels run out and you will wait hours for and also not towels at night . Entertainment is almost inexistant and they play some sort of spa music throughout the resort all day 😴😒. Private beach is located near dreams and seems as though many things are connected to dreams, entertainment etc. Golf cart stops at 11pm so you gotta walk back. Our private beach was mostly deserted haha 😂 and they had an employee who was scraping the sand for that lovely design you see in the picture 🤦🏾‍♀️. Everyone liked referring me to dreams which is a decent one with lots of families with kids. Their snack bar by the pool was disgusting cheap food.

I think for me what really broke my vacation spirit was that not only was this a boring stay but food took forever and food quality wasn’t on point either. This happened for every meal of the day and portions were small so I had to order many things at once too. Only 2 diners out of 7 made sense (Limited & same menu usually but those 2 nights were different options. Also, there’s no self serve so every meal is cooked as you order. It’s my first time ever seeing such setting at an all inclusive. They are definitely understaffed too.

Where do I begin. Not much there and right off the street with loud cars, trucks etc passing every moment of the day. So, pool and rooms off main road. . Not many people around to help. Food subpar. My husband has low blood sugar and we ordered food at 2:30. Waiting and waiting, we never got his food. I went to front desk twice to complain and she tried calling the restaurant and no answer. I went AGAIN at 4:30 and she tried again and no answer. No food came. Very disappointed. I went to grab a cocktail at pool Bar. The bartender took a dirty glass, quickly rinsed it then wipes with towel behind counter. I didn’t drink it. My friend got a coffee and they rinsed her cup and wiped with his shirt. She went and complained to frontt desk. Again, nothing was done. The beach is across the street at Dreams. It’s all under construction and is awful. This place needs to get it together. Most of the staff was friendly which was a plus, aside from that, I would NEVER come here again. Not worth what we paid. They ran out food and would sub it for something completely different half the time we didn’t receive our food, so I don’t find it fair that we paid all of this money to not receive an all inclusive package.. Corporate must forget about these places when they should be focusing on them. Tourism is key for these countries. Why complain when the GM won’t do anything anyway. Waste of a trip and WASTE of money. Hyatt, please read this and get it together…

I recently spent my Thanksgiving vacation at Zoetry Resort in Curacao with my sister and friends, and it was an amazing experience. At the beginning of our stay, we felt the service could have been a bit more proactive and attentive to our needs. However, this concern was promptly addressed by one of the staff members, and we noticed a significant improvement. It was reassuring to see that our feedback was taken seriously.

The staff, overall, was incredibly friendly, and the manager, Juan, stood out for being exceptionally helpful and receptive to feedback. One highlight was Latoya, the bartender, who became a favorite among us. Her drinks were fantastic, and the Timothys at the bar also provided excellent service. We particularly enjoyed the watermelon salad and wings at the pool.

Being connected to Dreams Resort allowed us to savor a great dinner at the grill. While we mainly dined offsite, the turn-down service in our room and the multiple daily visits from the housekeeper were much appreciated.

What set Zoetry apart was the staff's genuine interest in our feedback and continuous efforts to improve. We would gladly return in the future to witness these enhancements. The pool's peaceful atmosphere during the day was a definite plus, and the visits from Lissette and Chanis, along with Jeandery's thorough and kind service, added to the overall positive experience.

Though the resort was quiet and calm, we felt that a touch of entertainment, perhaps a jazz band at night, would enhance the atmosphere without being too noisy or complicated. Kudos to Manager Juan for his hands-on approach, teaching the younger staff, and always ensuring a seamless experience for guests. He even worked on his days off!

On another note, we would recommend that the resort considers providing mosquito repellent for guests. This addition would be beneficial, ensuring a more comfortable experience, especially in the evenings. Despite this small suggestion, we thoroughly enjoyed our time at Zoetry and appreciate the efforts taken to enhance our stay.

This will be a short review. Do not waste your money at this resort. Housekeeping was the best part of the stay and they even failed with not remembering to restock the refrigerator or leave hand towels. The service was very disappointing. This resort along with the dreams resort across the street has a long way to go. If you’re locked in, beware of the room service. Very poor service if they even show up. I ordered room service at 6pm and someone had the nerve to knock on my door from room service at 1:30 am. For those with us during our stay, YOUU, lol. Good luck.

Zoetry Curacao stay

First off all this resort is small but is so peace full and relaxing. My first time to this kind of boutique resort and not my last one.

As a member of UVC, on arriving I was welcome by the one and the best UVC rep which is Angela this lady is my favourite agent on all AMR collection resort on the island of Curacao. She was there with such a great smile as always. Every day she checks on us to see if we need anything. I would suggest all guest ask for her and they will have the same opinion as me.

Our room was ready very early so we got in immediately, check inn so smooth. Got a great upgrade to a pool view room. The room was so clean and all the amenities were there, with huge balcony.
Room service was smooth, there was mini bar restock everyday but during the day if u need more thing just call and was deliver to our room.

The pool area is great I quit. My only issue and this I really hate it is the iguanas around the pool. Those animal jumps in the pool which is by me unacceptable. How can somebody relax in the pool if you need to check on iguanas? That’s why I did not even jump in it. I saw iguanas inside a guest purse, when they was ready to leave to their room that animal has jump outside the purse. I think AMR Collection in general need to have somebody to check those iguanas on all AMR Collection property not every guest like those animals.

The food was awesome, there was no buffet, the a la cart concept was great. Breakfast was great and fresh.
Lunch most of the time was at the pool side which I like it, had some minor issue but was correct immediately.
Dinning great at Bloom, the only restaurant that was open during my stay was Bloom, I think they need to open the other one also not every day the same. Most days they have chef special so there is something different on the menu with a different dessert.

Normally I do not sit at the bar because we are not so big fan of alcohol. But here things has change, this place has some staff that we has fall in love with. The 2 best of the best bartender at this property are Ms.Juvi and Mr.Brayen, they made the best cocktails and we can sit and talk with them hours, we really love them.
Also the best waiter Ms.Selana this lady was so careful and always pamper us with anything we want. Also Ms.Shanty she prepare some delicious lunch at the pool and if there is not what we want she go and get it for us
Last but not least Mr.Tico this chef cook is awesome, the minor issue that I had he was there and immediately told me don’t worry he will make some dinner for me and I totally love it.

I will really suggest this resort if you are looking for a tranquil and relax resort with great atmosphere go there. For an extra care look for those above mention staff trust me u will not wrong.

If you’re used to actual luxury hotels (or even 4 star hotels), I would recommend saving your money and going elsewhere. Among the worst hotel experiences I’ve had, even compared to other hotels at half the price. I don’t typically write reviews but felt compelled to do so to help warn others.

Staff are lazy and will often ignore your requests, even if it’s something like room service, if they deem it too much work – we had numerous nights where we ordered room service, and never heard back. This is also an issue with the laundry service – while they promise next day service, note that you must follow up on this – they’ll forget to do it otherwise. If you bring up any of these issues with the concierge, you’ll be greeted with a negative attitude, as if they were doing you a favor.

The hotel also suffers from significant stock issues – even with the limited dinner menus (often 3 main dishes), we were often told they were out of one or two options, and unlike what you’d expect from a luxury resort, they did not offer an apology or an alternative. Basic alcohols were frequently out of stock, including vodka and tequila, for multiple days – given how close some grocery stores are, you’d imagine the staff would care enough to go and re-stock their inventory.

This was my first stay at a Zoetry resort, and I will not be going back to any hotels in this chain given the poor quality control and clear attempt at monetizing the name without any shame.

We were one of the first guests to stay at this resort. AMAIZING !!
Secluded property with GREAT service; every employee is very attentive and goes out his way to make you feel comfortable.
Nice relaxing swimming pool area were you can order whatever you want from your sunbed.
You can ask your concierge to drive you to the beach that is 2 minutes away.

No activities at Zoetry! Dreams has all the activities. You can walk across the street to Dreams and still participate. Be warned that both Resorts have a very rude staff. The food is awful at both places too. Also nobody seems to know how to make a proper drink.

The beginning of the week the food service was good. The quality of the food remained good but the service went downhill fast. Other guests said they went over to dreams just to get better service. If you are there with the concierge they are very helpful. Calling on the phone is less helpful. We returned 31 December 2023

"Only two restaurants at this property and they close one of them at all times. So be prepared to eat outside every other day for dinner."
