My initial booking and interactions started with Ms. Congeniality herself, the beautiful Ms. Irene. At first, I phoned her whenever my planning took place and I'm embarrassed to say that it was only months into doing so, for our group of 24 persons, it was only then I found out Ms. Irene works during 8am - 4pm, never did she once declined or failed to return a call to me with whatever information I needed assistance with and never once did she ever mention anything of this sort to me.

As the time passed our flights with Suriname Airways got cancelled and we needed to rebook with Caribbean Airlines. The assistance and professionalism of the Trupial Inn staff did not stop there, although I must admit our trip did not seem as it would have been successful but with her assistance and her guidance, we were able to rebook with Caribbean Airlines, it was though she was Heaven Sent to our group.

The kind courtesies did not stop there, Angelo and every person stationed at the Reception desk was equally as helpful and accommodating to us from our arrival on the Island straight down to the day we left.

The premises of this hotel are well maintained, the lawn, the trees, the shrubs, the laundry room... all well maintained and kept at all times. The premises I can honestly admit are just as the pictures show them, no false advertising whatsoever.

I can certainly recommend a stay here at any time to anyone. Room service every day if desired, towels, no problem just leave it on the bedroom floor and if you forgot to do so, just go to reception and they would give you clean ones. Air conditioning in room up to par.

Compared to other hotels, it feels great to be able to receive what was advertised and what was paid for, a home away from home with no hassles.

Great work by the Management and Staff and a wonderful thank you from the I love Travel Group.

Stayed at hotel in September for a work trip, staff where very friendly nice rooms which where very clean food in the Italian restaurant was very good, the 4 meat pizza and the brusheita as a starter are particularly good. The hotel has very well kept gardens, and if your lucky you will occasionally see humming birds feeding from the flowers.A good place to stay if your visiting Curacao.

I had to stay here to recover from an illness. The staff were super and made sure that all my meals were brought to me and that I had tea and other refreshments. The housekeeping staff made sure that all my needs were met. The linen was fresh and ironed.I found this hotel to be very comfortable. All electrical goods were modern and safe. There are plenty of lights in the room. The room itself was spacious and well laid out. The water pressure in the shower was great. There was plenty of storage space for all your belongings and somewhere to work if needed. The surrounding area is quiet and you are surrounded by a well maintained garden.

Tonight I went for dinner with some friends at Osteria Rosso, due to the rain we moved to the wooden seats under the roof, a security guy was pointing fingers to a friend, from the distance a few times. I went to him and he said it is not allowed to sit on the side of the wooden seat. I told him, then you should come with a chair and explain that is it snot allowed.
Basically the disrespectful treat, and the way to approach us was definitely disgusting and bothering.
I really do mot know where they find this people. Definitely not coming back.

Last saturday we stayed at Trupial Inn hotel.
The room was very nice and everything was almost perfect, but there was just one problem.
We couldn't use the hot water. We notified the front desk about our problem and they told us that the maintenace team will handle it.
The second day came by and we were told the boiler doesn't work and that was it, we weren't provided with any solutions and had to make do with what we had.
Then our last day went by and we had to leave disapointed by the lack of solutions provided.

Trupial hidden, small and friendly clean hotel with a good mix of local people from curacao and tourists.
Friendly helpfull hardworking staff, room 25 was quiet and clean. Short stay of 7 nights. Great pool with poolbar. Love the garden with a lot of birds singing (mini jungle). Great guarded parking, casino (not visited, no noise).
Restaurant Rosso with friendly hardworking staff.
Nearby Zuikertuintje minimall.
This hotel was not my first choice, I prefer seaside hotels, but it was a pleasant stay. Dont tell about this gem to other people :) Discover for yourself

I took my daughter on a trip last August and we stayed at the Trupial Inn hotel. It was probably the worst vacation we had ever had. The legs on the beds in the room were uneven so the beds kept rocking from side to side.
Getting information from the Front Desk Agents was like a chore as they treated us like we were bothering them.
To get downtown took like about 15-20 minutes and this was a "trip" as the shuttle ran only twice per day from the hotel and the bus was was so small passengers had to huddle together just to fit.
I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

I can't believe I had such a terrible vacation. Every thing was bad including the rooms, food & casino. FYI - THIS IS NOT A HOTEL BUT MORE OF A MOTEL. You can drive your car up to the room. There were a lot of local people around and we have seen many hookers using the hotel for there services. I would defiantly not recommend you this one!

If you are looking for a nice place to spend your holidays in Curacao, you definitely have to book Trupial Inn. It is a lovely and cheap hotel and gives you an excellent service. You are not that close to the sea but if you are a little bit creative you can arrive easily at wonderfull beaches. we loved the Trupial Inn hotel, it is quiet and very typical. In november we go back to Curacao and guess where we will stay??

Trupial Inn, Curacao.
The Casino is in the middle of the Complex. It closes at 4am. The people leaving are very noisy and
they will wake you up.
The music at poolside plays late, so you cannot go to sleep early for your early morning tours.
The quietest rooms are near the entrance.
The rooms are not sound proof. You can hear you neighbors too easily. The adjoining doors are not
sound proof. I was woken up many times in the night.
If you don't have a car it is a $15. taxi ride to town.

I see you have a shuttle. Please tell us more about this service? Thanks
Answer from ChristyNandlal

The shuttle has limited service. They go to town I think at 9am and 11am and pickup at 4pm. They go to Mamba beach nearby once for the day and pickup once as well. Duty free zone too. You have to book it the day before if you want to use the service.

They just need a copy of everyone's ID or passport that's staying in the room. As long as you pay and your payment goes through and clears your bank. I think they should be able to get keys. Put the reservation in their name too. And yes I think it is gay friendly. I think I saw some gay couples there when I went.
