We had a great time with my family at the resort ,thanks all the staff and special thanks to the lady at the reception “Inge” making sure that our time there was special with all our needs (restaurants reservations and things to do on the island!!! We stayed in Ocean Breeze Boutique Hotel more than 3 weeks from March 8th onwards. We felt at home with the simple yet beautiful Caribbean style decoration in white and turquoise studio apartment. I would like to give thanks especially to Inge for her kind friendly help at all times, even after hours while our stay at Ocean Breeze. She went out of her way to help us find options and Bonaire insider information and that made our stay a lot more enjoyable! Thank you so much Inge and hope to see you soon sometime in Bonaire
We stayed at Ocean Breeze hotel for the first time but we extended our stay twice and are sadly leaving today! What an awesome experience and so friendly staff! Rooms were in style with the island and always clean and lovely beds! From the moment we checked in until today when we sadly checked out...it was an excellent stay! We hope to come back to this beautiful situated hotel ! Thank you Ocean Breeze!
Clean and new hotel ! Close to the airport. The rooms are a bit small but there is everything you need !!! Friendy staff that maken you feel welcome. The restaurant is great and open air. The chef Mitch know's his trade and is a wizard with local fish and product. I'll go back 100%.
What we liked: The location is wonderful. You have a beautiful view on the patio. Evenings the view is breathtaking with the river and the palm trees. In the morning you can hear and see the birds playing around. What we did not like: Management is very poor. When we entered the apartment, there was bird excrement on the pillows of the sofa. Dish with leftovers was in the cupboard and not cleaned. Really disgusting. In the shower there was used tissue. On the patio there was a used thsirt. What was really ridiculous that the cleaning staff was telling us something like, enjoy your stay everything is cleaned. Every day I was in constant communication with management to get things done. This was a waste of precious time. It should be without saying clear, that a guest does not want to spent his time telling management how to do their job. At the end, thats what I pay for, right. Management acknowledged the situation but did not fully mitigate/eliminate the issues and did nothing to amend for their shortcomings. Finally, in the first day they told us, that we can enjoy late checkout, but I guess as a consequence of my complaints I guess they decided to void their promise, which got as at surprise, because they just told shortly before regular check out time. So we had to rush to pack everything and get out. This is a prime example how you can destroy your business.…
