The lodge is high in the mountains and counts just six cabins, all with beautiful views. The main lodge has the pool with sun deck, also with great views, lounge and dining area. A great chef cooks every day breakfast, lunch and dinner for the guests staying at the lodge; most of the day you are on your own. Also the farm manager and his assistant are stand by to take you on small excursions or hikes. A wonderful place to stay and relax before or after you manage(d) the 58 km through the Nature Reserve!

Carin and Spike are great and very kind hosts, Very understanding and helpfull while my wife was ill. Good food and a great and very beatifull location. The place to be and stay. If you go there and want to experience more hire a 4x4 car. But the luxery was great and outstanding. I will advise it to all my friends and family. We come back here for sure.

Great setting. Nothing wrong with the rooms if a little overpriced (I travel a LOT so this is from a wide reference base). Host over familiar and insulting toward my 16 year old daughter, so much so that she felt unsafe. Will return to the area but never to this place.

Pity that such a unique beautiful setting was spoilt by an extremely rude manager. He was unprofessional, overly familiar and somehow thought it a good idea to give our 16 year old well mannered daughter a telling off when she got up to dish food for her self. He said she doesn’t have any etiquette. He then decided it was a good idea to go through the slaughter process after she expressed concern about eating lamb. We could not get away from the place quick enough in the morning.

I took 2 chalets for our family. We have considerable experience of South Africa, but Sederkloof is quite unique. A blend of literally breathtaking scenery mixing far off sounds of wild animals of many types and eagles circulating almost heavenwards with awesome quiet caves speaking their own silent stories and mountain water flows to preserve the life there. Thys is a true font of knowledge to guide you through this magical landscape, with Alice making sure your rooms are perfectly prepared, superb dinner - just so you fully absorb the wildness that encompasses you. The memories will stay with you forever.
