I booked the standard triple room for a quick overnight stay due to the ferry booking a boat that has been on drydock for 2 months. The room was as expected, standard basic, very clean and seems recently upgraded. The host accommodated our cold stuff in the communal kitchen which we couldn't enter possibly due to COVID-19 as the room's mini-fridge hadn't arrived yet. The restaurant was closed for health protocols but we enjoyed a wonderful pizza dinner from the Italian restaurant a few steps away called La Tataruga at the guesthouse little courtyard overlooking the beach. Short walking distance to restaurants, the beach and night activities. Overall stay was good.

We visited Buccoo March, 2020 and vowed that someday we would be back. We were specifically interested in Miller’s Guest House because of the location and we are not disappointed. We stayed in unit#8 overlooking the warf. The apartment is spacious and has all that you would need for your stay. We could see upgrades being done in all of the rooms, and if you enjoy basic, comfortable accommodations, this place is perfect. The WIFI worked fine, however when I was watching a movie and my husband was googling stuff, it was a bit slow. There was lots of music and activity on the pier when the fishermen would bring in their catch. If that tends to bother you, bring ear plugs to sleep. … which might come in handy when the resident rooster sounds his alarm very early in the morning. We bought groceries at nearby stands and mini-marts, however did enjoy our meals out. We were very impressed with Winston, his knowledge of Tobago and his roots in such a warm and friendly community. My husband enjoyed discussing world events with him and appreciated his conversant manner. We will definitely come back.

We had a great stay here. The bed was very comfortable and clean, and it was a bonus having a kitchen. We had a view of the jetty which was entertaining and we ended up buying fish for a couple of meals from the fishermen. It was close to tourist places like Nylon Pool. The sandy beach wasn't crowded and it was a 10 min walk away. Nikki and Winston were always available to help and having the bar/restaurant was a great bonus. Sunday School was an entertaining party as well, and a 10 min walk, as well.
It's a quiet place, but there's enough near by and it's the main pick-up place for tours in Buccoo Bay.
We highly recommend this place.

Our stay left much to be desired. Upon arrival we were not greeted by Winston, we were unsure of where we needed to go to check in to our room etc. Our first interaction with him was unpleasant, he wore a vest and short pants during this and his attitude was not as welcoming as prior conversations we had via email and phone. Getting to our room was a bit underwhelming, the beds were extremely uncomfortable and privacy was limited as the bathroom had a window where persons from the neighboring property could see directly inside. Trying to make the best of the situation we decided to go down the the highly recommended Luvina's restaurant, only to find out that it was closed. There was no prior communication that the restaurant and bar would closed for the duration of my stay at least. It would have been nice to have dinner or breakfast overlooking the ocean but that did not happen for us unfortunately. Apparently he also had construction going on at the property, so the gates to the jetty/boardwalk was locked and the yard was unkept. During our stay we saw Winston approximately two times, one of which was when we were leaving his property and both encounters he was shirtless and in a short pants. Amenities included faulty wifi, four channels on the t.v (none of which were movie channels), iron at an additional cost, lost of towel (fee is attached), lost of keys $200.00 etc.
The best thing about this trip was the beach. THE END

Thank you for your review , we are unaware of the specific room to which you refer , as all bathrooms are appropriately ventilated and those with glass windows are heavily tinted on the weather side , making it in effect one way {looking out}. Additionally all personal interaction between guest & management/staff would be curtailed to a minimum per Covid protocol , and lines of communication open to effectively treat with any problem or request needed , regrettably in this case for all the inconveniences you listed you failed to inform the GM accordingly , as he lives on property, surprisingly you only interacted with him twice and in both instances you were able to speak to his dress code without context and inferred that it was an affront to you for wearing a "vest & short pants" to this end we profoundly apologize. The temporary closure of the restaurant is indeed unfortunate , but information would have been relayed in this regard and alternative neighborhood restaurants were available . As for the on going work, it is structured so as to be of minimal inconvenience during the week and ceasing on week-ends, there are also public works occurring simultaneously to the jetty/Boardwalk hence the closure of this exit/entrance point for Safety reasons. Hopefully this clears up your misgivings and we look forward to hosting you in the not too distant future.

Husband LOVED daily discussions with owner. We stayed in #6, looked at a banana tree outside our window. Porch was a pleasant place to meet people from all over the world. Tiny ocean view, but you only have to walk 50 steps to get a great view with lots of activity. Great restaurant on property. Less than 1/2 mile walk to grocery store. Wonderful sunset view location just around the corner--I visited every night. Sandy beach just a short walk away, and lots of boats and fishermen to watch on the pier. The accommodations themselves were wonderful. Clean, WiFi good, communal kitchen if you need it, although we had a refrigerator in our room, but borrowed cereal bowls and spoons. Hot pot (kettle) in room, but you'll need to bring your own coffee and shampoo (available at the nearby store). They can do your laundry if you'd like, for a small fee. I'd definitely stay here again. Our 9 day stay was wonderful.

We stayed here and took a seaview room.
It was perfect. Comfortable bed, well appointed kitchen and view over the sea with fishing boats coming and going with their catch.
There is a minimart and a supermarket nearby where you can buy food and fresh fish next door to the guest house but we ate in the attached restaurant - delicious local fish at a very good price.
There is a wonderful, unspoiled local beach nearby with a makeshift but well appointed bar.
Winston is a welcoming, lovely host.
Could not have been better!

I stayed for 10 weeks (December - mid February) to get away from a long UK winter:) This was the perfect stay for me. It was a great base to go off and do plenty of things on the island, it was a lovely walk to the beach where the trees come down to the water (Like some kind of paradise island) and you can watch the rescue horses wade in the waters or ride them if you like. Loved this quiet beach. Mt Irvine is another stunning beach nearby with lovely facilities. I loved riding the bus into Scarborough, to Crown Point etc just to get a feel for the real Tobago, just getting to chat with the local people. Buccoo is a wonderful little town, people are so friendly. Absolutely brilliant place. It was nice to watch the fishermen each day bringing in their catch.
Winston and his team were so helpful about things to do and advice in general. Brilliant and friendly but gave you loads of space if you just want to be quiet and do your own thing. It was great to chat with other guests in the communal area, but again there was just a general atmosphere that if you wanted to do your own thing people left you alone but there was always great chat if you wanted to find out what was going on locally or what other guests recommended. I totally recommend Millers. Great value for money and because it is such a small island it is easy to get around. And don't forget to take a trip to the rainforest.. absolutely stunning.

It's a friendly relaxing place that is located just off the shore. Excellent price. The suites have kitchens, but there is a very nice restaurant on site with a beautiful view of the bay. The small town hosts 'Sunday School'. There is a place close by where you can rent horses to ride along the beach. Take a glass bottom boat ride from Boccoo Bay to the Nylon Pool. On your way to the pool you can stop to do a bit of snorkelling in the coral. Nikki and Winston know the island well. I would suggest talking to Nikki if you are to make plans to do anything in Tobago.

We stayed four nights in the double room #6. Clean, good a/c, fridge, well functioning bathrooms and a good bed. Shared small and roofed veranda outside with a glmpsed view of Buccoo bay. Winston is a good host and always around. 20 m down to D’Icy Blue Restaurant with view of fishing piet and the bay and beach. About 10-15 min walk to Cornerstone Supermarket where you can buy what you may need and pay with card. 10 min walk starting at bosrdealk below restaurant to the magnificent Buccoo beach.
A well kept and functional guest house with great location. Recommended.

The place is a fabulous location for dinner. You can sit and enjoy the view of the fishing boats coming into the bay and unloading their catch.
The menu is limited, with quite a few dishes not available, and be warned, the wine is imported, and I felt £41 was excessive for a bottle of Chilean Sauvignon Blanc.
The fayre itself was good.
