Great hospitality.Lisa personally welcomed us and then upgraded us to a beautiful cottage with the most stunning views.Sunset over the Sundays River was the highlight. Great Accommodation.The smaller room that we were booked into was as beautifully decorated as the suite we upgraded to. The rooms are very clean and comfortable with all the necessary crockery & cutlery and appliances. The patio area overlooking the garden ,the valley & river is truly a great place to enjoy your sundowners as we did. The establishment is also very conveniently situated in the Addo area and so close to the Addo main gate. Thanks again Lisa for a fab stay .See you again in the near future.Andre & Des

We enjoyed a lovely lunch indoors, as was a cold day, but there is also seating outdoors. The menu is limited and it takes a while for the food to arrive, but it does say on the menu that the food can take a while to prepare. However, when is arrived it was very good and worth the wait. We particularly enjoyed the vegetables, as most restaurants only offer salads with meals. The spinach was particularly yummy!

A jewel in the middle nowhere. Despite it's rural setting, there is access to all essential services, petrol, a shop, laundry, restuarants. And just down the road from Addo. The welcome was enthusiastally friendly. Nothing was too much trouble for Lisa and the team. The accomodation was first class.The views spectacular. Highly recommended.

Ok, before I say how wonderful this place was, some feedback on the room. The pictures online looked amazing and the room we got ‘unit 4’ was a bit different. It wasn’t as fancy as the other rooms we saw people in so perhaps they could show more pics online to help with expectations.
That aside, this is a wonderful place to stay for a few good reasons!!
1. The peacefulness and views. Just felt sooo relaxed immediately! 2. The staff were just soo attentive and I loved the wee touches along the way. 3. The restaurant on site was just fantastic! The steaks...just wow!! The service wonderful, the wine was beautiful and they grow all their own vegetables which were so tasty! Watching the sunset while eating outside was something we don’t get a chance to do that often. 4. Only 10 min drive to Addo Elephant Park.

Arrived too late to get into the Park, and what a blessing that was. Discovered this super accommodation on the river at a fraction of the price. Apartments are mod, good and clean and fresh...with a restaurant to cater to your needs..or you can self cater. Super Bird life in the surrounding trees. We ended up visiting the Park the next day and spending a second evening at River Front. Would definitely stay there again when visiting Addo. Highly recommended.

Booked for one night and we so thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Tranquil, peaceful and the cottages were so comfortable. Added bonus of Riverfront Restaurant a short walk away for a superb evening meal. Lisa was our host and she made us feel most welcome. Going to Add, well why not stay at River Front Estate and have a great time.

We enjoyed our stay in Room 2. Very clean and serviced every day except Sunday. Just 11km from the Addo entrance. Hosts are all great and we loved the restaurant. Fresher veg you won't find anywhere! Very peaceful and with all amenities and a lovely shower.

As expected, tranquil and peaceful. We had a lovely stay in unit 1 and 2 with our friends. Travelling as two couples, the accommodation was perfect, as we shared a veranda and braaied together with the sun setting over the river. Absolutely beautiful! Perfect location for our trip to Addo National park, just 10km away. Good value for money - Thank you!
