We stayed for a night here, as we wanted to go and look at the Grayson Perry House for Essex, which is a short drive away. Very high standard of accommodation: clean, spacious and attractive. Both our evening meal and our breakfast were superb.
Lovely Sunday lunch. Haddock and chips superb, as was the chicken breast in the cream sauce. Very nice location on the south bank of the Stour. Staff were very attentive. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended
