Big 5 Sibuya has more navigable river than any other game reserve in South Africa. The unique experience starts immediately with a 45 minute boat transfer from the village of Kenton-on-Sea to River or Forest Camp - luxury en-suite tented accommodation nestled in riverine forest and constructed in an environmentally conscious manner. Luxurious Bush Lodge, situated just outside the main Reserve in a pristine indigenous forested valley, is accessed the same way and then guests are transferred by game drive vehicle to the Lodge. All buffet-stlye meals & beverages are included - as are canoeing, fishing, swimming, birding etc. Add-on activities at a nominal extra rate include massages, horse riding on the beach and golf. An abundance of wildlife from Elephants to Otters and prolific bird life await you. Guests are hosted and guided by a team of experienced knowledgeable professionals who ensure a memorable personalised stay which will leave you saying 'Sibuya!' - 'We will return!'

Absolutely amazing experience. We were two families with 5 teenagers between us. We stayed at Forest Camp and loved it all from the game drives with the excellent Ranger Jono, to delicious meals, bonfires, kayaking, boat rides and the beautiful sleeping tents.

Room Tip: July- no bugs, cool nights (but fires in the tents and warm water bottles to sleep with), warm days.

Overall a good stay, we had three tents for a family vacation in Forest Camp. The Good: - The guide and camp staff were friendly, knowledgeable and hospitable. - The location is beautiful and we loved the river trips. - The tents are clean and the bedding is warm and we liked that they put hot water bottles in the beds at night. The not so good: - We stayed in the winter and the fireplaces in two of the three tents were not working properly. - There was not enough hot water for two people to shower comfortably and the water pressure was very low - Food was plentiful but the quality was average and the deserts were sub-par - Our bed was very firm which can be a problem if you are a side sleeper

Great overnight stay with some fantastic encounters. Well worth a visit. The rustic, but luxurious feel made it a very different experience. The rangers and camp staff were great, a credit to Sibuya. We wish you all the best for the coming year.

Our few days at Sibyua were a fantastic break in the normal hectic demands on life, with no rush, quietness and lots of exciting sightings of various animals. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. We were truly spoiled!
