Next to Hakata station, with a 7-11 and a Starbucks on the doorstep. A standard Japanese hotel, and the room is small, but everything is nicely done and it feels slightly upmarket. WiFi, aircon, bathroom all function well and the aircon and fridge are quiet. The bed is good, by Japanese standards. The staff are efficient and helpful. At 5,700 yen, it’s good value, and I’d be happy to stay here again.
The hotel is conveniently located a 3-minute walk from Hakata Station and the bus terminal, a great base for those who will use the trains to visit other parts of Kyushu. Check-in was smooth and easy as the very polite front desk clearly communicated with us in English. The room was big by Japanese standards and even came with a full-size bathtub. We didn’t need to climb over one another after opening our suitcase. The iPad in the room came with several games and apps pre-installed which came in handy for checking the weather or Google Map, but everything was in Japanese. We’ll definitely stay here again on our next trip to Fukuoka.
We have stayed in another FORZA Hotel at Hakata before, comparatively, we like this one much better. The room at this hotel is clean and unexpectedly big, definitely bigger than the other one (same type of room). There is sufficient space to move around even when we have like two big luggages opened up. They also have AI/smart home system in the room where you can “talk” to for information (not sure if they have English version though as we were using Japanese to “communicate” ^^). We and our other friends (couple + baby) are overall very satisfied. And not to mention the hotel is of walking distance to the Hakata Station, around 3-5 mins walk only. Very convenient and there’s a convenience store just around the corner, too. We definitely would stay at this hotel again shall we come back to Fukuoka next time. …
Nice, clean, updated rooms and it is very near to the Shinkansen. Our priority was that the hotel is near the shinkansen as we need to drag our luggage and a two year old son. We are not young anymore. :( We stayed at Forza from 18/04/2019 till 24/04/2019 before going to Hiroshima and we totally enjoyed our stay. I would like to thank Ms S.Mukai for making our stay enjoyable and memorable at Forza. She is very understanding, accommodating and has a kind heart. She even help us change room in the middle of the night and we are very grateful for that.
Small-ish rooms (still a decent size by city standards), but the rooms are very new and clean and the bathroom is so unusual. My kids love the waterproof Bose speakers and inroom iPad. Good location within walking distance to Hakata train station and near a few petrol stations (we dropped off at the hotel before returning our rental car). It's also across the road from a Sushi Zenmai outlet. Love the free coffees in the lobby.
