Brand of Toyoko Inn is the hotel chain you can trust in terms of most valuable price. In the view point of tourist, this chain has been rated almost the same. However, you may feel the same mood and tone once you travel around Japan + stay in this chain. Breakfast is free for all guests. Wifi signal is quite strong. Location is very close to Hakata Station as this is easy access to Airport by train and bus. Membership is highly recommended for lower pricing. You can apply for membership at the time of check-in and diecount can be applied immediately. Direct Booking is highly adviced since booking with other online websites not big difference. You may experience fully booked but keep trying.........twice an hour if you would like to book in high-demand period. I did stay during peak period during Rugby World Cup. Actually, I would like to give up to book with Toyoko Inn but keep trying on hotel website many times a day....finally, we got a room. Highly recommended

Stayed for two nights. Property is very close to Hakata Station. There’s a Family Mart next to the hotel, and Hakata Bus Terminal is just opposite the road. In short, hotel is at a super convenient location if you’re coming to or returning to the airport. Hotel was able to hold luggage until the 4PM check-in time. Staff had some problems with English, but I managed to make myself understood. Selected toiletries – e.g. shaver and comb – are picked-up from the lobby as needed in order to reduce wastage. Cafe where breakfast is served is very small with almost shoulder to shoulder seating. Range is also quite limited. Room is functional but very small, even for business hotel standards. Rate is very attractive though.

The Toyoko lnn chain is consistently reliable in matters of cleanliness, efficiency, quality and, staff friendliness. This particular hotel is as convenient as it gets for Hakata bus and train station. The one downside is, the rooms don't have safety boxes. The special mention goes to The Staff who, are truly superb!

As with all Toyoko Inns I've stayed in, small rooms, clean and amenities required are available. Staff are friendly and speaks english, will hold your luggage before n after your stay. Breakfast is free and tasty. Great location, just across the station and shopping, conected by bridge or underground. Opposite to the bus terminal. If you come from the airport international terminal, will be easier if you took the bus than the subway especially if you have luggage.

Bear in mind that there’s another Toyoko Inn branch just one street over. Same name, except that one has "No. 2" at the end - the one I'm reviewing here has no number at the end. 3-night stay. Priced at the low end of what I’d consider midrange: average of slightly over 6,000 yen a night (after my member’s discount). If booking direct on their official site and you're staying more than one night, it's possible to choose a so-called "Eco Plan" option that lops another 300 yen (if memory serves) off the cost of any night on which you forgo room cleaning; even then they'll hang a bag of fresh towels on your doorknob. Not available on consecutive nights - room cleaning is required at least every other day - but you can choose alternating nights on booking. If you want the room made up and toiletries replenished daily, just don't choose the "Eco Plan". Excellent location with Hakata Station - Fukuoka’s main transport hub - just a few minutes’ walk away and a convenience store at the corner of the street. Fukuoka Airport is a couple of stops away on the city metro from Hakata Station, and there are also direct buses available to the airport from the area. The convenient location makes for high demand; I couldn't book a full 4-night stay even months in advance and had to spend the first night at the nearby branch mentioned earlier. My room was typical of the Toyoko Inn chain: compact, but complete and well-maintained. Unit bath with small toilet and tub. No closet, just the usual wall-mounted rail with hangers. Flat-screen TV with access to local channels (no English-language/foreign channels, not counting foreign movies on pay-per-view which I’ve never used). Complimentary buffet breakfast from 0630 to 0900. Basic Japanese-style options for the most part: onigiri, pickled side dishes, tamagoyaki, etc. Nothing fancy, but more than adequate for a free meal. Will be glad to stay again, mainly for the reasonable prices and the great location.
