Yes, so I have visited the Hotel recently in late December, and it was the first hotel I stay in for my Honeymoon trip. They greeted me with open arms, they spoke good English, and made the communication way much easier, and as soon as I entered the room to settle in, and let me

Yes, expensive hotel. Room was lovely. Great bed. HUGE picture window. Shower/bathroom was like a spa. Butler service -- exceptional. They helped us with many things we needed including giving specific directions to a cab driver. The hospitality staff was wonderful - on New

We stayed at this wonderful hotel a few weeks ago. The room was clean, modern and quite large. The breakfast buffet was extensive and delicious. The entire staff was professional, courteous and efficient. When in Osaka we will certainly stay here again!

A very beautiful and classy hotel right across Shisaibashi shopping street. The concierge was effective though a little nervous about our expensive sushi restaurant booking that they kept emphasizing a reservation fee would be payable for last minute cancellation that it became

No need to take Transport, it is a nice stroll of 5 to 10 minute walk from St Regis to first reach the famous Shinsaibashi ,it is a Pedestrian-only walkway that leads you all the way up to Dotorbori, it takes about 30 mins & it is super crowded. There is plenty more to see & eat along the walkway which runs parallel to the Main Road, Midosuji, there is no chance you lose your way. A Cab ride takes about 5 to 10 minutes due to Traffic from Osaka Takashimya back to St Regis. St Regis has an exceptional concierge service which will help u make restaurant bookings , Universal Studio tickets as well as any private Tour. We took a Cab from the Hotel to Osaka Front to catch a train to KYOTO. The central Train station is about a 15 min cab ride from St Regis & u can actually see it from the windows of your Hotel . We took a normal train to KYOTO which stops at every station including the Station of Yamasaki Suntory , & the journey only took us about 50 mins , u can of course opt to take the faster EXPRESS train. Train System in Japan is 1st class in terms of punctuality & convenience. Besides, private transport & Cab are both very expensive in japan fyg. P.S. there are plenty of good restaurants located at the top 2 floors of Osaka Front, so u can have a nice good meal before u hop onto a train to KYOTO.

Is there a shuttle service from KIX airport?
Dear Gdav2014, Thank you for your inquiry. Unfortunately there is no direct shuttle service from KIX to The St. Regis Osaka. You can, however, take a shuttle bus or train to Namba, and take a taxi from there. From Namba to our hotel, it takes about 7-8 minutes and the fee will be around $10. Once you are at the hotel, the subway station is located directly below the hotel, so it is easy to get around Osaka as well as other cities like Kyoto, Nara, or Kobe. If you have any further inquiry, please feel free to ask us anytime. We look forward to your visit to Osaka!
