Five out of five is a very high rating with the hotel deserves it. Located directly in front of Hakata station. Rooms are well equipped with five star amenities. There’s an all hotels in Japan extremely clean and service very polite. If you want something to complain the only thing you can mention is that the fridge is empty like nowadays in most of the hotels. However you have a coffee maker. But this seems to be a trend in this industry and didn’t influence my rating. Will certainly come back ++ mattress ++ extremely quiet ++ big TV with connectability to mobile devices. ++ fast Internet ++ equipped with everything you expect in a five-star hotel ++ spacious room +/- empty fridge.
We decided to stay in this newly opened hotel in the very last night of our Kyushu trip. It made our 2-week holidays ended on a high note. Their staff, especially Harumi Kobayashi from the concierge, has been very helpful throughout and kindly reserved the Michelin restaurant "Yakitori Bancho" for us with all the required details so that we could easily enjoy the delicious dinner. Most of the staff can speak fluent English. They welcomed us with friendly attitude and welcome drinks. The hotel is nicely decorated and at a prime location connected to the JR Hakata station. The outdoor spa and the restaurant at the rooftop have a nice city view. We will definitely visit it again when we are next in town and recommend our friends to stay in this hotel.
We stayed in this hotel as the 1st stop of our week long trip to Kyushu. It was intended to be a overnight stay in town before we pick up rental car for road trip and Onsen Ryokan hoping. The hotel exceeded our expectations and more. The location. 2 minutes walk away from Hataka station, was the initial reason we chose it. Staff members were most friendly and helpful. Room design modern and superb with outlets for modern day travelers. Bathroom spacious with toilet room. Breakfast, although choice was simple, with good quality ingredients. We liked the facility very much and will certainly return for a longer stay when we visit Kyushu again.
It was my third time to Fukuoka. This time my wife and I spent two nights in the miyako hotel hakata. It is a new hotel with great location which is less than 3 mins walk from the hakata station. The room is spacious and neat. There is nothing to complain for the location and the facilities. But the service of staff has great room for improvement. 1. My wife and I went for breakfast in their top floor restaurant. When we arrived the restaurant, there was no reception for 5 mins, so we walked pass the reception and seek for help. Then a male captain came out and spoke in Japanese with a fake smiley face that asking us to be waited outside the reception. I understand that this might be my poor perception, but as a frequent traveler to different hotels, I could tell that it was a fake smile and with no respect in the guest and asking u to go out. 2. When we were enjoying our breakfast and coffee in the restaurant, a waitress collected our utensils without asking if we had finished breakfast. I seldom being treated in this way in a restaurant or a hotel serving buffet. This is really impolite! They should only collect guests’ utensils when they confirmed the guests had finished their meal or walked away from the restaurant. 3. When we checked out from the hotel, we were asking a concierge about postal service. Yet the staff in front desk urged us to pay even he witnessed that we were talking to his colleague. In general, my comment to this hotel is good hardware but poor service package.…
Hotel is well located connected to the subway through the basement entrance . Staff has been more than helpful. Room is modern spacious and clean. Breakfast is very acceptable. A lady Ms harumi at the concierge has got all out of her way to make our dinner reservation before checking in. The 13th floor spa is a real good spot to relax after a day of walking. Definitely will stay there again
