10 - 15 minutes from Sapporo Station. Close to street cars and subways. Can walk to most attractions. The front desk was very helpful. They called the ryokan to get instructions on how to get there from Sapporo. The gym was brand new and surprising big.

Dear manyeeestherh2016 Thank you for choosing Mercure Sapporo and taking your time to share your review here. We are pleased to hear that our service could meet your expectation, and we will share your kindest comments with our team. In regards to air-conditioner, our apologies for making you uncomfortable as the Hotel air-conditioning is currently set to heating. Due to the climatic variances in Hokkaido, we recommend all of guests switching the air-conditioning off and opening your window for fresh air. We apologize again that the central heating system is unable to change your room from heater to air conditioner. If you have any other questions or comments, please feel free to contact us anytime! Best regards, Shihomi SAKAI (Ms.) Guest Experience Supervisor

Easy access. comfy room, friendly staff. But there's no concierge, so we have to take care our luggage by ourselves. I'm traveling with toddlers, so they already prepare the baby crib in the room. Overall satisfied.

Hi Chitri. If your ETD is 10:30 you will need to c/in latest by 8:30.. I’ve only taken the airport bus once. The other 2 times I took the train. But those were becoz out ETD were before yours. There is more risk going by bus but it depends on which season you are going. Middle of winter with possible snow storm you are better to catch the train. We got cab from Susukino to the Sapporo Station and being very early morning (5ish for our 6am train) it was less than 10 min and cost less than ¥1000. The only time we took the airport bus we caught the earliest bus from Susukino. Hope my answer helps.

Wasn’t paying attention to my east west, but just as you are out in the arrival lounge the bus ticket counter is to your left just inside the main exit door. The customer care at the counter should be able to help you there. The Sapporo bus time schedule should be on display clearly right on the counter. As for us, the bus was just outside as you step out on the street. Was no easy and I think most convenient. In fact just waisted our JR Pass. Hope that helps
