The resort setting is beautiful. we had a suite on the hill with gorgeous sunset views. Kim in reception was a godsend as she was able to switch our floors as my husband had trouble with the stairs. The water sport desk is great, we had two wonderful sails with Bob who was a grea

We enjoyed our stay at St James Club Morgan Bay. Our visit was just out side of peak season so we paid a fair price. The restaurants and staff were both very good. The rooms were clean and ok but a little dated, on the 3 1/2 star scale. The beach, and rum bar / pool overlooking t

My best friend and I stayed there for her birthday month in May and it was an excellent choice. From food, to service from the staff to the entire resort environment, it was warm, welcoming and beautiful! The food was great, each night we did a different restaurant. The pool area

We give St. James Club Morgan Bay 4.5 out of 5 stars.
It gave us good value for the money, set in beautiful manicured tropical grounds its westward facing location provides picturesque sunsets.
With 2 adult pools and two family pools they never seemed crowded.

We stayed here for 10 nights towards the end of November 2018 and had a brilliant time. The rooms and grounds are kept clean and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful.

There’s a few pools, a couple of which are adults only, and one with a bar that you can swim up to and

We are traveling next May and we like to adventure into local towns to visit craft shops and local restaurants. Any recommendations?
Use public transport. EC$1.75 per person per trip. Online bus schedules and routes. Easy to follow. When you want to get off - "Bus stop driver". After you are off the bus, go to the passenger side window, pay the driver and away you go. Castries is safe, as are the towns to the north.

Hi All! Is the beach nice here? What is the water like? Is it rough? How is the wifi? How is the food? How is the nightly entertainment? I am planning a mother-daughter trip and wondering if this is a good resort. Any info would be greatly appreciated! Also, how is the weather usually? Planning for January!
Hi I can only answer in my opinion. Family of 3. WiFi is rubbish only in the reception area only is main place, as the bar area became disconnected. Beach area nice and sandy it is not rough, but a very small bay and a lots of it is segregated for water sports from swimming. One thing that slightly disappointed us. Friendly staff but as first answer it is a very poverty ridden country. Loved the experience of our first Caribbean island though. Wish I had of done more trips. Food always plentiful and a variety. Never Ill or had a dodgy tummy. Go on a Joys adventure boat and land trip of the island book from the beach hut it is well worth it. Pizza palm trees restaurant the best there. Morgan pier nice on a lovely evening. Not sure if I would go there for as long as 14 days next time.

I am visiting next year and as well as doing excursions we are quite interested in getting out and about on our own! Any recommendations on where to go and the best ways to get around the island would be appreciated! Any other general recommendations about the hotel or excursions would be appreciated to! Thanks for any help in advance !
Hi: Hotel excursions are a little pricey. Use Trip Advisor - we found the excursions to be a little more reasonable. Hotel fantastic - we will be returning for a third time next year - don't forget to book your a la carte restaurants as soon as you arrive. Don't be afraid to use public transport - it's an adventure (a safe adventure). Routes and schedules are published online. Begin with the relatively short trip to Castries. If you take the day trip to Pigeon Island, you will likely meet up with Andy - he is a fantastic guide and would likely take you on other trips.

Looking into booking here for July 1019 and just have a couple of questions any help answering would be greatly appreciated! • Whats the deposit about when you arrive at the hotel? Has anyone experienced any problems with this and does it have to be on a credit card ? •I have read a few conflicting things about the water sports is all of it included or do you have to pay for the motorised sports ? •Are there a lot of excursions to go on? •Is there other things to do around the hotel in walking distance/ is it easy to get out and about on your own? Thanks for any help! I know there are a lot of questions there !
Deposit is on credit card. No problems on our two visits to the resort. Water sports great. Sailing lessons free, catamaran free, kayak free. Not sure about water skiing, didn't try. Many excursions, found them pricey from the hotel, try booking via trip advisor before you go. Use public transport, it's very interesting and safe. Check online for schedules and routes - piece of cake.
