Just an ideal place to stay for a couple of days. Bus from outside the door takes 5-10 mins to get you down to the town. The host is a lovely lady who can’t do enough to help. Also a huge help that they have a car park as this means you don’t have to worry about the car for a few days whilst here. Would strongly recommend

Really a great hotel, Antonella and her husband make you feel at home. Located in a strategic position to visit the Cinque Terre, we toured them by motorcycle. Buffet breakfast (plentiful) ordered the night before to avoid food waste, a choice I fully shared. Customer care for everything. Perfect for those with a car. A bus leaves opposite to Manarola and from there you can take the train to the Cinque Terre. Furthermore, the center of Volastra is opposite the hotel and has a wonderful restaurant called Locanda Tiaburcion that has divine seafood! It was recommended by the owner of the Pousada and it was wonderful! The stay was also excellent, I recommend it!

Our stay at Hotel il Saraceno was a surprising reward for our previous cancelled hotel in La Spezia. As we drove up the winding mountainside toward Volastra Riomagiore, we came upon Hotel il Saraceno in the heart of Cinque Terre. We went in & found two rooms we needed. When my group met Antonella, the owner & full time operator, we discovered a sweet Italian lady that could not do enough for us! This place was clean tile throughout like a hospital, but that was nothing to complain about! The rooms were large & comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful & delicious! We walked the hill outside to the bus that took us to the nearest train station where we visited all of Cinque Terre in two days! Good hotel. Excellent location for visiting the 5 lands as a shuttle leaves from Volastra for Manarola. The hotel offers kindness. Mrs. Antonella gives excellent explanations for visiting all this. There is no easy way to go from Pisa to Volastra in general and it is even more difficult at night. Consider to stay one night in Pisa and the next day to take a train or a bus to La Spezia and from there to take a regional train to Manarola and lastly a local bus (or a taxi) to Volastra.

We travelled as a couple but you shouldn't have any problems as when we stayed there was also a couple with a teenage daughter staying. The owner will definitely look after you.
