Wonderful hosts who were only too willing to assist you. The establishment is a lovely old (1904) colonial home set in beautiful gardens and very tranquil; and the rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. I will definitely stay there again when I'm next there on business.

A sanctuary in the heart of town with immaculate garden and historic homestead. The reception and hospitality by Ralph, the owner, was exceptional. Truly recommended! Only one suggestion is to improve the quality of the coffee in the room and replace the powder milk by longlasting milk (those small pouches).

Good afternoon We thank you for your most delightful review of Monte Rosa and we are pleased that you enjoyed your stay with us. We appreciate your suggestion regarding the quality of the coffee, may we kindly point out that the taste of various coffee brands is different to different people and we do change our coffee brand from time to time in order to have variation. As far as the long lasting milk is concerned (small pouches) we have had very bad experiences with them as we have no control over the 'freshness' and quality of its contents. However fresh milk and long lasting milk from our guest fridge are always available to our guests. We thank you once more for your observations and trust that we will see you again soon. I chose Monte Rosa for my stay on the weekend we got married in Rawsonville. It was one of the best choices I made. They made me feel so special and accommodated us wherever they could. I know some of my wedding guests also stayed at the guest house and they where so happy with the service. My sister and I had breakfast there the Saturday morning and that was amazing, for a bride you forget to eat on your big day I was so thankful that I had such a hearty breakfast in the morning. I am so thankful that I stayed at Monte Rosa, they really added that extra special touch to our wedding weekend. Everything was clean and neat really a great stay, unforgetable. Thank you so much, can't wait to come back.
