Our ladies' weekend getaway at Firefly Falls was simply enchanting! We arrived just in time to appreciate the start of the fireflies, which was awesome. In fact, the staff affectionately dubbed us "Firefly Fairies," which added an extra touch of charm to our stay. The facilities at Firefly Falls are well-maintained and thoughtfully equipped with everything you could possibly need—and then some. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm, friendly faces and a relaxed, casual atmosphere. Firefly Falls has definitely earned a special place in our hearts, and we'll be back again!

Thank you for your hospitality and a tranquility treasure weekend breakaway and bush stay at Firefly Falls. Your firefly bush gem - notwithstanding a dry waterfall at this time had been splendid. our stay in the bush cabin was peaceful and a wonderful and restful house away from home. With some attention to the condition of your kitchenware, bed lamps and arrival orientation re plugs it would have been superb.

What an awesome setting in nature. This is truly a unique experience. We booked the forest tent and it is glamping worth the effort. The gardens are beautifully tended and driftwood art on the premises is exquisite. The forest bathroom is unique and watching the fireflies while lounging in the bath is an unforgettable experience. There are string lights strategically placed to provide just enough light to find your way around at night without deducting from the setting. The honesty system at the bar is brilliant and streamlines the whole experience. Sleeping in the tents you have access to a fully stocked kitchen and although it is quite a distance from where we slept, it wasn't a bother.
The only advice I can give the owners is to upgrade the bed linen. The duvet was awfully thin and a nice thick down duvet with good quality linen would have added some luxury to the experience which wouldn't have gone amiss.

I went a Rope Access Course nearby and took my girlfriend with. The staff made us feel at home and were very friendly. We stayed in the Bush Glamping Tent. This is such a special place and we had ultimate privacy but also quick accessibility to the needed facilities. On our arrival we got a walk through and offered an upgrade to a cabin but did not take up the offer until our third night. This was only because of the single beds in the tent and we opted to sleep in the tent again on our last night. We opted to braai(BBQ) for two nights and this was really worth booking as they supplied everything needed and I will definitely advise anyone to do this.
A 20 min drive in both directions offers various beaches including Plettenberg bay. There is a national park nearby and also Bloukrans Zipline and Bungee.
Firefly Falls is a special place if you enjoy being very close to nature... We loved the place and will definitely be back.

We had an incredible glamping experience with the family! The kids absolutely loved it. The facilities were spotless and well-maintained, making our stay very comfortable. It's an ideal spot for a weekend getaway, with Nature's Valley Beach just a short, scenic drive away for some beach fun. The host went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and well-accommodated. Highly recommend!

Wonderful place to stay. Owners are very friendly and make you feel at home. IWe had a big surprise to find electric blankets on each bed because it was very cold. Our beds were nice, clean and warm. Will be back for sure.

We had a very pleasant stay at Firefly falls! The gardens are spectacularly beautiful with large green lawns. This contributed to a soothing and relaxing feeling in one's spirit. We spend some time in the hot pool underneath the Lapa and made use of the communal kitchen with had all the cutlery and cooking essentials needed to prepare meals. Thank you for making us feel so welcome, certain to return!

Family run, beautiful guest farm. I camped there and it was lovely, but they also have fantastic glamping tents and a whole range of accommodation. Excellent value if you're planning to do the Otter, as they take care of all logistics such as shuttles, and you can safely leave your car there. The family run a tight ship and everything is nicely taken care of. There are dogs and kids playing happily on the huge lawn and beautiful nut trees. They even throw in an epsom salts jacuzzi for muscle-sore hikers returning from the Otter. Epic stay, I'll be back.

Beautiful place located not too far out of town and easily accessible. The location is perfect if your looking to get away as a couple and just experience nature in a different way. Firefly falls has some amazing trails to hike on as well as some beautiful spots around the camp. I would highly recommend the firefly bath experience. Definitely coming back!

A few disheartening experiences due to racism and neglect are the reason for my low review for FireFly falls. While working on projects for our friends living in Kurland village throughout the day… for a group of volunteers to come back to FFF at the end of the day to witness racism, discrimination and be put in uncomfortable situations due to neglect from the owners is inexcusable and unprofessional. Our friends from the village were treated with disrespect and at the end of the night while im sitting there apologizing because of the embarrassment, the response I hear is “its ok, we have seen it before, it happens” …doesn’t sit well with me.

As business owners, one would think you would care to know who is on your property at any given time to ensure your visitors safety and comfort. Welp, there was one guy that was there which is either to be friends with the owner or not friends with the owner, but he knows him or isn’t friends at all with him but still had him over…im not sure which it is but regardless the guy was a creep and created a really uncomfortable situation that could’ve been avoided.

Unless ownership wakes up and conducts this business in a more professional manner, I won’t recommend you stay here.
