Nestled in a serene spot convenient for beach lovers, the Radisson Blu Resort, Bali Uluwatu is celebrated for its tranquil atmosphere and thoughtfully designed spaces. Guests have called out the relaxing pool areas and the spacious rooms that boast comfort and style, though there have been mentions of noise and cleanliness concerns. While the hotel's pool and amenities generally receive praise, the value proposition is sometimes questioned due to pricey food and additional charges. Service quality appears to fluctuate, with reports of both warm, attentive staff and occasional lapses in service speed and consistency.

I stayed here for 4 nights with my family, and our experience was very enjoyable. The hotel's location is quiet, away from crowds, but still easily accessible from beaches, entertainment venues and restaurants. The room is very spacious and comfortable. The pool facilities are very good, suitable for relaxation. The only downside is that the food in the hotel restaurant is a bit expensive compared to the nearby local restaurant, but the quality remains good.

This hotel is beautiful. From the welcome Prosecco and treats in the room to extra toiletries we found the radisson to be well thought out we lots of seating areas and it never felt crowded. Breakfast was good and again never too busy . Staff were helpful at all times .

The only thing I would say is if you don’t like monkeys I probably wouldn’t stay here . We saw them everyday of our 6 nights and some days they did terrorise by the pool area and they were attaching the room cleaners non stop .

My first time staying in Uluwatu, and staying at the Radisson Blu was my ‘splurge’ for the trip. Being a 5 star hotel, I admit I had high expectations, and sadly, the hotel fell short.

We had a late flight and didn’t check in until after 1am, so check in was nice and easy, however they told us we’d need to go back in the morning if we wanted a second room key, which seemed a little odd.

On first look, our room was nice, and we had a lovely little dessert platter and a bottle of champagne which was welcomed treat.

The breakfast was average, not as much choice as what I’d expect at a 5 star resort, nor did it vary by much each day. One morning I came at 7am, when the sign says breakfast starts, and was told to come back at 7.20 as that’s when they were starting breakfast that day.

The pool was big, but cold. And you need to be careful of your belongings as the monkeys are quite cheeky and like to steal things. They stole someone’s phone while we were there.

The monkeys also like to break into rooms, one of our friends hadnt shut her balcony door properly and she came back to the room to see monkeys in her room eating her welcome basket!

We had room service and lunch by the pool, and sadly the food lacked flavour.

There is a long driveway from the main road to the hotel and there are no lights, so even though it’s close to the main street, it’s not wise to walk the driveway at night. Some simple lighting along the path would make a world of difference.

Other things that let the resort down were stained bedding, the bathroom was a bit grotty, there was never anyone by the pool to take food/drink orders, and service in general was quite poor. Our friend spilt some food right by our pool lounges and mentioned it to a staff member who said they would clean it in a moment, yet 5 hours later it was still there. And ringing room services took ages each time, one time it took 10 calls before someone actually answered.

We also asked for some champagne glasses to drink the bottle we were given but we were told we’d have to pay $5 per glass.

I loved Uluwtu, but I wouldn’t stay at the Radisson again. It’s over priced, over starred and underwhelming.

My boyfriend and I recently stayed at the Radisson as we were in Uluwatu for a wedding. I’m thankful we were out and about most days rather than at the hotel. If we were to visit Uluwatu again I’d probably stay at the Anantara which is next door and where our friends stayed. Breakdown below of why the 3/5 marking.
Food: my biggest annoyance during my stay. I ordered room service of just chips and a drink as I was heading to a wedding and it took ages to the point where I couldn’t wait anymore (it had been 1hr 40mins already) I even chased it twice to see where it was. Simply unacceptable. Why offer room service is you can’t really deliver particularly such a simple request! If you had long waits, tell me that. Whenever I asked how long it would be they wouldn’t answer the question. I eventually asked to cancel it then unsurprisingly it arrived 2 mins later. The food menu for artichoke is very limited and what we did have wasn’t great, my boyfriend sent back the veggie wrap and asked for a refund. Despite water from the tap not being safe to drink in Indonesia, for some reason they restrict how many bottles we can have per day. We’d come back from the wedding mentioned above and asked for 4 more bottles of water, only 2 were delivered. We asked again in the morning for 6 more bottles of water to be told we’re only allowed 4 per day. We stayed in 3 hotels across Bali and Singapore prior to this and in all 3 water was unlimited, no questions asked whether it be in room or by the pool. It’s things like this that let the hotel down, I wouldn’t mind if the tap water were drinkable but it’s not!!!
Room: was nice, really big bed and clean. The bathroom there are a few things that were a pain. The glass shower door is inconvenient, not only does water come out of the shower but the door doesn’t open over the bath mat so you have to pull the door in on yourself instead. The toilet doesn’t have a toilet brush or as we’ve been a lot in Bali a spray water gun for cleanliness, either of these are definitely required. The walls are also paper thin so I could hear next door flushing their toilet for example. Also, above the bath is a blind, don’t lift the blind up for everyone in the hotel corridor can see you bathing. I don’t see why a window was put there in the first place.
Pool: hardly any staff round the pool, very difficult to get towels or order anything to eat or drink. You have to go up to the bar and wait for a member of staff to come back from delivering food and drinks to other. For such a large pool I’d expect more than 2 members of staff. There are pool activities like volley ball mid-afternoon so if you were expecting a chilled lounge by the pool after 3pm, think again!

Our family of 4 stayed at the Radisson Uluwatu during the SG sch hols, the place had a chill vibe and not overcrowded with screaming kids. We enjoyed our pool time with many floaties while the wife enjoyed her spa treatment which had 30% due to a collab with some banks. Overall a great break and not to mention good food, the beef cheek rendang was awesome... Highly recommended chillax hotel.

The service and facilities are top class . The dining is full of well prepared choices at breakfast ,lunch and dinner. The pool is perfect . Our housekeeper Rama is a great staff member who works hard to care and please guests .
The hotel could do more to create a fun vibe /mood around the pool with music. The Weekend poolside BBQ needs music and a party feel . Felini Italian restaurant is fantastic but needs music as well play some Puccini or Dean Martin to add some spark .
This is a lovely hotel for an in resort relax .

We loved everything about Radisson blu. Fantastic hotel with a beautiful pool area. The rooms were large and comfortable. The room was clean and comfortable. Bed big and comfortable. It was built all around but it was not something we were perceptibly disturbed by either in the room or while lying by the pool. Extra bonus that you got free water throughout your stay. Great breakfast, there is something for everyone. The food at the hotel is also good and we did not feel that it was so much more expensive there than outside. 600 m from the hotel is the main street with shops, restaurants, cafes and massage places. The street is lit in the evening so you can walk there after sunset.
Pantai Padang Padang is called the beach where the hotel has a shuttle bus. We went there once but it was a really small beach with lots of people and surfers. Nothing to see. Costs 15,000 rupees/person and they only take cash.
The massage at the hotel was amazing. Better than the one on the street, but much more expensive.
At the back of the hotel there are two places that I can recommend; Banana lounge and The Korowai.
The Korowai is located on the way down to Impossible Beach (which is a really, really small beach) It is a boutique hotel that is so beautifully situated overlooking the Pacific Ocean. There you can eat or just have a drink.
Although the hotel was pretty much fully booked, it didn't feel that way. At the pool there was room regardless of the time of day. The gym was also quite ok.

A Beautiful hotel most definitely 5 Stars. We booked the Deluxe double bedroom we booked in advance and got a very good price. The room is very spacious , clean and came with a king bed, a large bathroom with a bath and separate shower with a very powerful shower and hot water . They provided shampoo conditioner toothbrushes etc. The room balcony was large and spacious and had a simple A/C system easy to control.

The room had a mini fridge with complimentary drinks and snacks. Fresh baked snacks were provided daily along with bottles of water every-time the room was cleaned . The tv also allowed casting of Netflix so we were able to use our own accounts on the tv.

The hotel facilities were good there were a couple of bars, at least 2 restaurants , a gym and a lovely pool with floating beanbags. The hotel is close to quite a few beautiful beaches.

Key things to note, it’s about a 10 minute walk out of the hotel to the local street which has some other restaurants should you chose to dine outside of the hotel. There are some monkeys but we only saw them on one occasion in the morning .

The service was fantastic across the board and the breakfast had a large range of continental and local dishes , something for everybody.

Overall very pleased with the hotel and would 100% book again and recommend to others.
