I can’t really fault this hotel. Everything was as it should be at a Radisson.
Staff were excellent throughout, the SpaEsc is marvellous and worth every dollar.
Breakfast is an efficient affair catering for most tastes. Great fresh, healthy choices and the egg station is a well oiled machine.
Artichoke and Filini also very good. The Lookout bar makes fabulous cocktails (seriously, the best Mojitos in all of Uluwatu!), and its a nice place just to sit and read and write whilst enjoying the views.
The large pool never seems particularly crowded, and poolside service is smart. My single only gripe is that the delicious empanadas that were on the menu previously have disappeared! They were superb.
A top floor balcony suite is well worth it, with private decking on 2 sides. Lots of privacy plus beautiful views. Definitely recommended

A Beautiful hotel most definitely 5 Stars. We booked the Deluxe double bedroom we booked in advance and got a very good price. The room is very spacious , clean and came with a king bed, a large bathroom with a bath and separate shower with a very powerful shower and hot water . They provided shampoo conditioner toothbrushes etc. The room balcony was large and spacious and had a simple A/C system easy to control.

The room had a mini fridge with complimentary drinks and snacks. Fresh baked snacks were provided daily along with bottles of water every-time the room was cleaned . The tv also allowed casting of Netflix so we were able to use our own accounts on the tv.

The hotel facilities were good there were a couple of bars, at least 2 restaurants , a gym and a lovely pool with floating beanbags. The hotel is close to quite a few beautiful beaches.

Key things to note, it’s about a 10 minute walk out of the hotel to the local street which has some other restaurants should you chose to dine outside of the hotel. There are some monkeys but we only saw them on one occasion in the morning .

The service was fantastic across the board and the breakfast had a large range of continental and local dishes , something for everybody.

Overall very pleased with the hotel and would 100% book again and recommend to others.

Arriving at the Radisson my travel partner and I both had bad feelings about the place when we assessed the lack of guests present and how secluded the Resort is from all other resorts and cafes etc.

At check in, our room was delayed so we were asked to wait, we were also offered a $500AUD deposit to use for our 5 night stay to use for food and beverages then receiving the remaining back after our stay. This was proposed to us in a way that seemed as though it wasn’t optional, until further discussion we discovered that is wasn’t necessary and more of a revenue generating tactic.

Our king size bed was not a king size bed, it was TWO single beds put together, this made the whole middle of the bed, about a foot in width, extremely hard and uncomfortable.

Our room that was meant to have views, simply overlooked the pool, as with all the other rooms around the prison-like resort. Concrete walls surrounded the resort making it impossible to see ocean or any scenic views of the landscape that makes Uluwatu so unique.

Our first night we were ill, so we didn’t make it to the buffet breakfast the first morning of our stay. The following day, down at breakfast, I was asked to change my top to something that covered my shoulders (the top was simply a tight strapless top with a bikini underneath, it didn’t show any cleavage or stomach). This was very embarrassing but I complied and took the long walk back to my room still feeling ill, to change. A few days later I was surprised to see another woman with just a strapless bikini top on covering only a small portion of her chest. Another lady was wearing a sheer, shirt sundress which exposed her bikini hiding underneath. The same staff member that asked me to change was also working both these days. This makes me feel as though I was targeted or singled out for reasons unknown to me as I had more skin covered than others attending breakfast.

Overall, I was greatly disappointed with the experience I had with Radisson. I expected much better things from this overpriced hotel but was extremely underwhelmed. I had read a plethora of great reviews online however I have read multiple reviews similar to my experience about the depressing atmosphere and false advertising of the website.

My boyfriend and I recently stayed at the Radisson as we were in Uluwatu for a wedding. I’m thankful we were out and about most days rather than at the hotel. If we were to visit Uluwatu again I’d probably stay at the Anantara which is next door and where our friends stayed. Breakdown below of why the 3/5 marking.
Food: my biggest annoyance during my stay. I ordered room service of just chips and a drink as I was heading to a wedding and it took ages to the point where I couldn’t wait anymore (it had been 1hr 40mins already) I even chased it twice to see where it was. Simply unacceptable. Why offer room service is you can’t really deliver particularly such a simple request! If you had long waits, tell me that. Whenever I asked how long it would be they wouldn’t answer the question. I eventually asked to cancel it then unsurprisingly it arrived 2 mins later. The food menu for artichoke is very limited and what we did have wasn’t great, my boyfriend sent back the veggie wrap and asked for a refund. Despite water from the tap not being safe to drink in Indonesia, for some reason they restrict how many bottles we can have per day. We’d come back from the wedding mentioned above and asked for 4 more bottles of water, only 2 were delivered. We asked again in the morning for 6 more bottles of water to be told we’re only allowed 4 per day. We stayed in 3 hotels across Bali and Singapore prior to this and in all 3 water was unlimited, no questions asked whether it be in room or by the pool. It’s things like this that let the hotel down, I wouldn’t mind if the tap water were drinkable but it’s not!!!
Room: was nice, really big bed and clean. The bathroom there are a few things that were a pain. The glass shower door is inconvenient, not only does water come out of the shower but the door doesn’t open over the bath mat so you have to pull the door in on yourself instead. The toilet doesn’t have a toilet brush or as we’ve been a lot in Bali a spray water gun for cleanliness, either of these are definitely required. The walls are also paper thin so I could hear next door flushing their toilet for example. Also, above the bath is a blind, don’t lift the blind up for everyone in the hotel corridor can see you bathing. I don’t see why a window was put there in the first place.
Pool: hardly any staff round the pool, very difficult to get towels or order anything to eat or drink. You have to go up to the bar and wait for a member of staff to come back from delivering food and drinks to other. For such a large pool I’d expect more than 2 members of staff. There are pool activities like volley ball mid-afternoon so if you were expecting a chilled lounge by the pool after 3pm, think again!

My fiancée and I were due to travel to this hotel for a few days of our honeymoon in May 2021. Back in January, Singapore airlines offered us a full refund on our flights as they anticipated that they might be cancelled due to COVID-19. This left us in a bit of a dilemma as we only had a short period of time to claim the refund but all of our accommodations were still going ahead as far as they were concerned.

We decided to get in contact with each of our accommodations first to see if they would offer a refund due to the fact it was highly unlikely we would be travelling in May this year (3x hotels through booking.com and 1x independent AirBnb), and each accommodation was very helpful, understanding, and realistic, and offered us a full refund so we could also apply for the refund on our flights, with the exception of Radisson Blu Uluwatu.

This hotel dragged their feet for as long as they possibly could in agreeing to cancelling our stay for a refund. At first, it was somewhat understandable, as it was only January and although I think everyone was pretty confident we weren’t going to be able to travel, this wasn’t confirmed yet.

After successfully cancelling all the other stays and flights for our honeymoon, and receiving full refunds, Radisson Blu Uluwatu informed me to contact them closer to the time to see what our options are.

A few months down the line, I decided to get in touch with Radisson Blu Uluwatu to see if there had been any changes, and I received an automatic response saying the hotel is closed until 1st June 2021 at the earliest, meaning our stay was due to start before the hotel had even opened. Great! Surely we will get our refund now!? Nope, Radisson Blu Uluwatu still refused.

Their argument was we paid for a “non-refundable booking”, despite the fact the hotel wasn’t even going to be open when we were due to stay. At this point I was lost for ideas so decided to dispute the charge with my credit card company and shortly after, Radisson Blu Uluwatu finally agreed to cancel and refund.

I have still not received my refund, however, and every time I ask them for an update, they say “it has been processed our end and due to the exceptional circumstances it may take longer to be processed”. Somewhat understandable, but it has already taken weeks and they have not given me any timescales or provided any evidence that it has actually been processed, so I am still waiting for the refund and wondering if it ever will actually be received.

So all in all, dreadful customer service, put to shame by all the other lovely independent hotels and Airbnb’s surrounding them in Bali.

Dear Hanzee-Malvo, First and foremost, thank you for bringing the matter to my attention. On behalf of the team and I, please accept my sincere apologies. To be candid, we all are going through difficult times in hospitality industry and managing cash flow has been our biggest challenge during the last few months. However it should not have affected your refund. I admit that there was a miscommunication between the bank and the hotel. i believe in transparency and wouldn't like to defend something which has been most challenging situation in my entire career so far. I personally signed the cheque yesterday afternoon, Wednesday being a bank holiday in Bali, we will process the cheque on Thursday and submit the proof of the transaction by mail in coming days. My kind request is that let bygones be bygones. Please contact me directly for future stay with us if you happen travel to Bali, it will give me and team, a great chance to make up for shortcomings which you experienced with us. I can ensure you that you will love and enjoy our property with the excellent team I have the pleasure working with. Looking forward to welcoming you to our Hotel. Our family of 4 stayed at the Radisson Uluwatu during the SG sch hols, the place had a chill vibe and not overcrowded with screaming kids. We enjoyed our pool time with many floaties while the wife enjoyed her spa treatment which had 30% due to a collab with some banks. Overall a great break and not to mention good food, the beef cheek rendang was awesome... Highly recommended chillax hotel.

We really enjoyed our 3 night stay at Raddison Blu. The resort Is very well maintained with delightful landscaped gardens, huge tastefully decorated rooms and a massive pool to top it off. There are many different areas to relax around the pool so it never really feels crowded. All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The only criticism I can think of was the lack of variety and freshness on offer at the breakfast buffet. I found myself walking around in circles not particularly being enticed by anything on offer. However, the service was excellent and the coffee was great.

First time to Bali; just wanted to relax and this was a perfect choice.
Very spacious rooms - we had a studio suite which was fantastic - huge room, well appointed; huge wrap around balcony.
Free form pool was wonderful and we spent a lot of time around it.
Breakfast is good with a Buffett serving usual range of continental plus cook to order dishes. Pool bar also offered snacks and drinks throughout the day.
Filini restaurant was great for a modern Italian style meal.
SpaQ was excellent and the gym was also well equipped, clean and modern.
Overall like all great experiences, the staff make the difference - from arrival to departure and every day in between, they were smiling, welcoming and helpful.... Thank you for a wonderful stay.
Note: great little 'back gate' to lead you to the steps down to 'Imposible Beach'.... Worth the trek.
600m walk toain road for some local shops, cafe etc, otherwise a cab ride to the other local attractions.

We enjoyed 3 nights at this lovely property. Helpful courteous staff, beautifully well-designed pool with shady areas at most times of the day, plentiful seating for all guests, great food choices - particularly at Choko Pool Bar - what more could you ask for
? Our Deluxe Panoramic room was enormous with seating areas inside and on our private balcony. Everything was immaculately clean and well maintained.
