A fantastic weekend was spent here. Lovely fires in every room to keep warm, great walks and really tasty meals. It's very unique in that each room has their own fridge space and locker. Also, with the children having their own dinning room and meals at a different time the parents could relax and have dinner. A perfect place for some time out, so peaceful - relaxation at it's best.

We spent last week at Blanco with our children and grand children. What a happy time. Attentive and friendly owners and staff who took the time to greet us by name whenever they saw us. Professional babysitting for the kids that gave our children much needed down time, but also enough time with the family. Every meal was delicious. Lovely roaring fires throughout the day and a chance to meet some great people. Spectacular runs, bike rides, horse rides, and walks. Kids were never bored. Setting is rustic but that’s what gives Blanco its charm. Thanks for a memorable holiday Chris, Kim, Dave and team. This will be a regular for us.

Family holidays are so precious! Especially when you can all have time for yourself, and together - in a safe and beautiful environment ♡ What sets Blanco apart for me is on another level. After the happiness and contentment I feel when I'm there, I'm able to live my busy city life a little more consciously and try integrate the stillness and calm I experience on holiday, into my normal life. That's what Blanco does.  It doesn't leave you. It stays with you and how beautiful that a holiday can impact on your day-to-day - especially as busy parents.  The children feel it too. And that's why 'we love it so' ♡ Having a taste of what life 'used to be like', the safety, the free range children, the bicycles and toys left out at night, the nostalgia of things not being perfect, the ability to do whatever tickles your fancy - on your own or with others. Supported by the Blanco family, the nannies, the produce of the kitchen, the friendly housekeeping, the firesides, the animals, the setting, the colours!  You'll only know what I mean once you've experienced it. It's a feeling. And you'll only get it, if you go ♡

A family run guest farm for over 60 years which never fails to impress and provides everything you need for a full inclusive holiday for couples and families. If you have been to SA before to visit Cape Town, The Drakensburg, Kruger Park, the Garden route, then your next visit must be the ever increasing popularity of the Eastern Cape (East London) and Blanco which is only 3 hours drive away into the most beautiful environment and mountainous surroundings.
