very helpful staff, clean rooms furnished with quality finishing, but although breakfast was served at my convenience time, the room was very depressing and dark, not a happy place to eat in. i made the reservation with dinner. however, there seems to be an arrangement with a pub that serves food as well as a restaurant. i landed in the pub that had an excellent menu but horrible food. like 5 snails in luke warm margarine with raw garlic placed in a stainless thingy that never saw an oven or micro oven for R70.00

Was the right choice of town for a stop over. H&M was great. The only criticism is, we being plus sized, the double bed mattress is getting hollow in its center giving a hammock effect. Dinner at Bordeaux was GREAT and best value. Breakfast at H&M Pub was good. Fruit juice was not pure rather a mix being very sweet. Cereal (flakes) had cardboard taste. We will support them again.

We spent a night here as a halfway stop between the KZN South Coast and Cape Town. Arrived fairly late in the evening but were warmly welcomed. Room was large and spacious and bathroom and shower spotlessly clean. Had a decent breakfast in the morning before leaving. Good safe parking as well. Definitely will stay again

The rooms were clean and tidy, good quality beds and linen. It was easy to get to the reception and in a beautiful part of town. Unfortunately there was not enough coffee and milk in the room, we were three people and there was only one 20ml of milk and one serving of coffee, tea etc. I would stay there again and recommend it to friends.
