The first place without a reception area.Enter through the kitchen? No creditcard facility.Pay eft or cash?
The room clean and very comfortable. The beds soft clean comfortable ensure a good nights rest.A very beaytiful double shower in the 5 bed room, would like such at home.Tea coffee etc in room.Small fridge a bonus.
Exit the room onto a patio covered with IBR sheeting with a view right in front of you of a very dilapidated unused room!!step from the patio onto a patchy piece of grass. The beautiful room is forgotten.A paved courtyard would be a big improvement .Please do something with that dilapidated structure?
Overall a good halfway stopover. Will stay again.

Place is very clean and neat with electricity blankets. We were a Family of 5, 3 adults and two kids. We booked the six sleeper in advance. To our disappointment the microwave and TV was not working. The kettle was moldy, no dish soap or spong for dishes and also had no plates in unit.
Other than that, we had a very good comfortable sleep.

Rooms were dirty. Not enough hot water for two baths or showers. Bathroom was terribly dirty. Reading lamps were not working. Sheets on beds and towels of very poor quality. Toilet not flushing properly. No dustbin. Madeleine Dowd 0829272459

We had car troubles just outside Colesberg and had to find a place to stay for 5 adults. We were not disappointed. It was clean, cosy and warm. The beds were comfy with more than enough blankets end all the amenities we needed were available. Will 100% stay here again.

I was discriminated sadly by a blacks person who felt I didn’t deserve a room with bigger space as these were reserved for whites to check in later in the day. Worse, I was given a room smelling cigarette. I was then moved later afternoon to a room that had no lights when there is load shedding.

We slept over here on our way to Jeffries and the owners was very friendly and wanted to help where they can. Room was clean, everything in order, aircons working and safe parking for our vehicle. This is a popular stop over for many families and now I can see why. Will utilise this place in future again

This establishment lacks basic organisation and management. It's chaotic to say the least. The rooms we booked were not the rooms we were offered on arrival. In fact we got ONE room for a big party - to share - like the Waltons. The "en-suite bathroom" is almost another day trip away and NOT part of the "sleeping hall" at all. When questioning the type of accommodation and the rate we were paying we were told that the information on the website was outdated by at least two years and that we had been charged the new rate!!? Granted, we received our insisted upon refund and left before attempting to make it to the en-suite bathroom before sunset.. but all in all a horrendous experience!

They have a noisy water pump that kicks in and out repeatedly all night long, topping up a water tank (presumably every time anyone uses even a tiny amount of water during the night). It is directly outside many of the rooms' bedroom windows. How hard would it be to turn this off at night? The pillows are the lumpiest I've ever encountered. Several of the rooms face a busy road on which many large trucks drive through - although there are fewer of these in during the night.

Made a very last minute booking as a late decision in peak travelling time resulted in the need for a stop over. Couldn't have been more friendly/more accommodating. Facilities were perfectly fine, basic but very neat and clean and spacious. We had our dogs with us and they were welcomed, a restaurant recommended. Exactly what we needed for the less than 24 hours we were there.

Very professional reception. The manager and owner on site to help people. Clean and comfortable rooms. Nothing is to much to please the visitors. The manager even phoned to confirm the restaurants that are open. Will visit again.
Thank you
