We made a last minute booking after the accommodation we originally booked was so substandard that we did not even unpack the car. I phoned Granny Mouse and the booking was handled in a very professional manner. We arrived 30minutes later and the room was ready, complete with fragrance candles and a personalized welcome letter. The rooms are 5 star...

We had such a lovely stay! The food was excellent. The friendly staff were amazing! The room was super clean and a bathroom to die for! I would've loved to use the fire place, sadly it was too hot to!

A wonderful stop on the Midlands Meander for an afternoon tea and scones, very cozy rooms with wonderful views over a little country river/stream. Wonderful staff and a really quaint country hotel and restaurant.

This is a very well known destination in this area, so I wanted to see what it was all about. On the whole, it lived up to expectations- spacious clean rooms, comfortable king sized bed, nice balcony, pretty view (we stayed in room 18), great bathroom with his and hers vanities and good sized tub and shower. The log burning...

A rather twee country house hotel with lots of cutesy little signs in the gardens and thatched roofs on the cottage rooms. It's situated in a valley with lovely views in one direction but just grassy banks in all others so it feels a little claustrophobic. The common areas are all higgledy piggledy with several old houses interconnected providing a...

We have just had the pleasure of staying here for two days after business. It is foremost a country inn. Quaint, friendly and homely. We were given exceptional client service from everyone from the guard at the gate to the housekeeper to the reception desk to restaurant to management. Everyone did what was within their ability to make our stay...
