Spent 4 days at this beautiful lodge and saw over 19 different animals and 4 out of the Big Five in just one morning drive! Absolutely incredible. The guides are so skilled and friendly, and the food is 5 star quality. We were fed so much everyday! Best sleep we've had in a long long time! Super comfortable and relaxing. Would definitely recommend.

A wonderful weekend spent with special people and wonderful staff. The serenity is second-to-none, the game drives really spectacular with incredible vistas and change of altitude. Although my birthday is later in the month, I received a rousing rendition of "Happy Birthday" from all of the staff and was presented with a magnificent cake! Thank you to all of the staff who made us feel incredibly welcome and really pampered us!

5 star customer service, most friendliest staff, excellent customer service, amazing activities, the executive chef outdid himself along with his team without fail. A lot to appreciate, lovely infinity pool, spacious clean, well furnished rooms, beautiful surrounding gardens that are so refreshing to walk through and more… we don’t usually visit the same hotel/destination for obvious reasons (so many to explore) but this is worth doing again. Absolutely loved it. Keep up the great work guys 👏👏👏

My wife and I just spent a week at the Babanango Valley Lodge in KwaZulu-Natal in South Africa. We were excited to be making this trip. Game reserves brings us so close to nature. But this new reserve was so much more.
Guest Room. The large guest room put four/five-star properties in New York to shame. Plugs for electronics everywhere. Oversize shower and bathtub. Incredibly comfortable king bed. Independent temperature controls. We didn’t want to leave.
Food. Breakfast. Lunch. Dinner. Beautifully prepared outstanding meals. From an English style breakfast to lamb/beef/vegetarian choices at dinner that were in every sense professionally prepared and presented.
Staff. We decided not to mention any names because we were made to feel at home and cared for by the whole team. Whether it was the knowledgeable drivers during the game drives, or the service staff in the hotel, they went out of their way to meet our needs.
The animals, which should have been first on our list, as always were the stars. This is the spring in South Africa and these animals were vibrant with many pregnant females and seemed to enjoy coming out to look at the humans who were invading their privacy.
Piéce de résistance. On our final night, the staff and children performed a Zulu dance/song piece that had ourselves and other guests close to tears. It was a remarkable closing to a truly fabulous week. Congratulations to the team that made out stay so outstanding.

I took my daughter as a special treat for her 40th birthday. It far surpassed any expectations that we had. They baked a cake and brought it to her singing happy birthday which made her stay so personalised. Every day there was a different animal shaped out of the blankets on the beds. There were flowers strewn everywhere. The attention to the smallest detail made it. The game drives were fun and informative and never disappointing due to the sightings of tons of animals. A hike to the copper mine was great and walking inside an experience. Nothing was too much trouble

The location was nice and secluded. As you approach, the signage is a bit small, especially if traveling a little late. However as soon as you reach reception, you’re welcomed with so much kindness and professionalism. An incredible weekend with lovely and friendly staff. Everyone is eager to help and make your stay as pleasant and comfortable as possible. Incredible food and views!

An unforgettable family holiday in such a beautiful area, Babanango has the most stunning landscape. We were a group of 19 children, teens, adults and everyone had the most fabulous time, I would definitely recommend Valley Lodge. It’s just perfect for large families or groups of friends. All the rooms are gorgeous with lots of space, every meal was really yummy, I must say Chef was marvellous. We didn’t see the staff often but they worked hard under Ms Goo Goo as the whole Lodge was spick and span. Babanango is still a young Reserve so don’t expect to see lots and lots of wildlife everywhere but saying that we were thrilled to see 4 of the big 5 and that was in one day!!! The Game Guides were friendly and worked endlessly hard to please the guests, especially the children. A wonderful place, a hidden gem and I’m so glad we discovered this place.

WWF Germany was absolutely astonishied by the Project and the Game Park's natural beauty.
The harmonic family atmosphere at all of the lounges made us feel right at home!
The kitchen staff were lovely and caring and prepared us with the finest traditional dishes to make sure we were always well fed to start our adventure.
Our guides were all wonderful and made an amazing job to educate us.
Espacially Guide and Ranger Sfiso touched our hearts with his funny and relaxed style of touring.
He not only answered all the question we had about the Park and the Animals, but also gave us an insight of the Live of a Zulu man in SA.
We hope that his wonderful smile will make sure that YOU too, enjoy your stay at Babanango Game Park! <3
Amazing experience 10/10
