We were a group of 15 friends staying at One-on Hely. This is the perfect location for exploring the area and enjoying the spectacular walking trails either through the forests or on the beach. The town is also close by and has great restaurants and coffee shops. The accommodation was perfect for us and so comfortable. The service and food was impeccable.

Nice guesthouse with lovely gardens , enjoyed a swim in the pool and very welcoming host ?Charlene. . Our room had a huge balcony area which was great to sit out . There was a nice lounge which we didn't use . Breakfast good and tasty especially the Muesli which was the best I ve had. A couple of minor issues hairdryer not working but that was quickly sorted. I ve given 4 stars rather than 5 as I did find it expensive compared to everywhere else that we stayed in South Africa.

This is a truly beautiful guest house with wonderful ambiance. They really have ticked all the boxes with comfort and style. The spacious rooms are neat and clean and the breakfast was delicious. Charmaine made us very welcome and was so friendly and helpful.

We decided to move accommodation due to the area we had found ourselves in, prior to this stay, due to personal circumstances. The welcome received was so warm & the property was in a beautiful setting within the tree canopy, which stretched all the way to the Indian Ocean. The bedroom, ensuite & balcony was lovely, comfortable & very clean. The staff were friendly & nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast which was included was delicious. Amazing museli full of nuts, orange juice., tasty toast & preserves, full English & our favourite the cheese omelette. It was so light & tasted delicious. They accommodated us until the day we left which was so kind due to the situation we found ourselves in. We would stay again in this beautiful place in the village of Mtunzini Thank you all so much it was such a pleasure being with you all over the past week & our new friend Frank, the Boston terrier.…

The stay is very pleasant . The staff is very friendly and helps with all matters. The rooms are very tastefully and functionally furnished. There was always water, coffee and tea available in the room. The breakfast leaves nothing to be desired . I am already looking forward to the next visit.

One on Hely is a calm haven set amongst the tropical garden . Beautifully decorated rooms with upmarket finishes. Secure off street parking and lovely garden area with abundant birdlife. Short walk to shops and restaurants

Very quiet and nice accomodation. A perfect place for one escape. I will come back. Breaffast was a buffet. You are near the Umalalazo park. Where you ahve a very nice mangrove. I would also recommend the Vista Lagoa restaurant

This was our 4th stay at One on Hely and again we loved it very much. We had a lovely and clean room with beautiful views over the garden. Breakfast was delicious and Teigan gave us a very warm welcome! We did some beautiful hikes along the beach and through the coastal forest and mangroves. Mtunzini is a lovely little gem to which we will gladly return!

One on Hely is really an outstanding Guest House. We had a delightful, one night stay. Seonaid went out of her way to assist with a very early start to go birding to the mangroves and dune forest of Mtumzini. She prepared an outstanding pack breakfast and arranged for us to have a later departure time than normal. Our room on the first floor was spotless and showed great attention to detail. The sea view was wonderful and there were trumpeter hornbills flying and perching in the tall fig trees in the garden. We can highly recommend Hely on One if you are looking for a Guest House in the beautiful little town of Mtunzini. John and Lesley
