Great room with views, excellent food, great staff....Small river next door to take a raft ride, its like a small park, good local food also. Fishing is available, they hooked me up with jamaicasportfishing.net .....They made my reservation, great fishing outfit. I would definitely recommend the Sea Bell Resort for any kind of trip, a lot of things to do in the area.

This hotel is very dated and the room needs an update. Although the staff was very friendly and helpful. They made the stay enjoyable. The beach at the hotel and for a distance on either side of the hotel is rock, not sand. This lack of of a beach was acceptable because I spent most of the days at CASE. I might stay here again or I might pick a different resort.

Sea Bell resort was a perfect place for a girl's trip of rest, relaxation and rejuvenation. Driving through the secure entrance of this 14 room oceanfront property brought us to a space that is beautiful inside and out. The cabanas and infinity pool called me to relax as the crash of the ocean surf brought instant calm. We were welcomed by friendly and helpful staff from the moment we entered. In fact the customer service truly takes this place the next level up. Sharnett, Kim and Kathy at the front desk took care of all our questions throughout our stay. Even upgrading us to an ocean facing king-sized room to give us extra room as we were expecting a third friend to join us later on our girl's trip. The restaurant on property served great Jamaican breakfast (included in rate) and had tasty options for lunch and dinner cooked to order. The staff were able to give us great suggestions on areas to visit and how best to get out to town. Port Antonio and some of the better known beaches are a 20 minute car ride, but we were able to call route and Juta taxis that picked us up right at the entrance of the property. After busy days out we were so glad to enter back to the restful space of Sea Bell Unlike many "all inclusives" on the other side of the North Coast, Sea Bell encourages and enables its guests to get out and see the real Jamaica. Portland is easily the most beautiful place I've been in Jamaica and Sea Bell is now my go-to spot.

The location is amazing, so is the staff and the property. Off the beaten path, but located right on the beach and the ending of the Rio Grande with an awesome infinity pool is a huge plus. The story behind the creation of the resort is also, ask for the Bell story.

After leaving our previous overbooked accommodation, we found by coincidence the Sea Bell resort.
The staff is friendly across the resort.
Dinner at the restaurant was good reasonably priced.
Rooms are large, with very good Queen and King size beds.
The accommodation is located on the beach and has a beautiful infinity pool. The beach has black sand and small stones. A good swim in the waves fun, but snorkelling at this spot is no fun.
I get the impression the resort is mostly used for weddings and parties, but during our stay it was very quiet.
Parking on the premises.

What a gorgeous facility: trim white lines, spacious rooms and restaurant all with the roar of the ocean within feet. The staff was friendly and helpful. The chef was flexible to our food tastes and time constraints when we had to rush off to the airport. The only fly in the ointment was when we were tracked down to pay for two bottles of water that had been offered to us upon check-in.

We felt secure and otherwise welcomed at Sea Bell.

I always go on first impressions, this was booked for me by my partner after doing some business in Kingston for 2 two nights.

My first impressions were correct an exquisite boutique hotel, which reflects the true Jamaica at its best.

Our room was clean of a high specification, the decor was a pastel mint green and a pastel yellow, which to me added to the peace and tranquility, we were both seeking.

The service by its staff especially Emily was precise, I am very precise on quality, if I pay my top dollar. I expect a top dollar service.

Any query I had was dealt with immediately and without any hesitation.

The pool was divine my partner and myself, found that we were the only two people in there for all of the afternoon.

The food was good, and can we say an enormous thank you to the chef, we arrived when he was catering for a wedding, but he still found time to cater for two very hungry people.

My only criticism is that there is no telephone in the rooms, therefore if you need room service you have to go down to reception and make a request, which is pain staking.

Excellent service and yes, we would go there again.

Where do I start? Well, Sea Bell Resort is the BEST place to visit in Hope Bay, Portland. The staff is warm and friendly and they have a great sense of community. My hubby and I had the most amazing time there. I want to give a shout out to all the names I can remember...Shawny, Shernette, and Mr. Stewart ( for all whose names I have forgotten, please forgive me).
I love this place! The infinity pool was soothing. The drinks and food were great! We want to return soon! We miss you all!
Sea Bell is my home away from home!!!!!
