Desert Camp not to far away from the main road (approx. 10 km of that 3 km only sand road). You cannot be lost, signs are alongside the road. Very nice staff at reception desk. Tent was ready earlier. Clean and comfortable, with toilet, shower, refrigerator, climatisation. Car park in front of the tent is possible. Free coffee, tea, fruits, soft drinks during the day. Water tank in tent. Camel ride on request only, bike ride in sands (bikes in the camp available). Very beautiful place. With 4WD car it is safety to drive in desert, not to far from the camp, of course. Breakfast from 8 am. I recommend.
Chandrika Priyanthi Lying on Sand like a Desert Queen .. It was Amazing day ,bit hot but ok .beautiful desert view .alot of camels around us , clear sky ,cold at night .. but if its windy then bit difficult to stay in sand .
The beginning was not perfect (when we arrived there was no one there) but after a little wait the staff were friendly, we booked quad bikes (they have 3) and the Camel ride for the morning. Dinner and breakfast were ok. Rooms have good AC, bed a little hard and the bathroom is basic. I would recommend it to someone who wants a quiet retreat and does not expect a luxury resort.
As we want to experience the desert stay with minimum budget and not very far off from the main road, found the Bidiyah Desert Camp(which is nearest to main road) after much thought and online research. The site can be reached very easily from Al wasil castle and needs to drive minimum 3.5 Kms off load even a 2 wheel drive will be more than enough. The camp is very spacious with children playing area, restaurant and rooms, they have multiple types of rooms. please decided one which is very appropriate to your requirement. The rooms are clean and spacious with toiletries,AC, Fridge and Furniture. The dinner was good and the breakfast was pretty ordinary, Please share them your req about items required for the breakfast well in adavnce as they can arrange. The owner MR. Badar and his son Adbullaha was very polite and humble. Please go in groups or when someone is already booked otherwise you will be lonely in the desert. They provide sand dune basing, camel and horse ride and buggy with extra amount.…
Its situated in a very convenient place. No need to have a 4wd to reach the camp. Accommodation and other facilities are not up to the mark. bear minimum. Didn't fascinate much. They provided breakfast but its just pretty ordinary. They take you for dune bashing in a pick up for extra payment. Which was thrilling but scary. We visited in a off season that is in summer so place was empty.
