This is the best camp in the Wahiba Sands. It is in a fantastic location higher than most other camps giving you the most spectacular view of the sunrise. Very comfortable, great host and excellent food. A highlight was the campfire after dinner under the stars.
We were recommended to stay this dessert camp. Was a bit doubtful as we have never heard of this camp. We drove to what they call a station where we got picked up by one of the owners. After a few minutes drive in the dunes we arrive at our camp for the night. The tents are on steel stilts above the dunes. There is a sink and toilet facilities but no showers were available. We didn’t mind it so much as we were heading straight to the wadi the next morning. Sunset was amazing followed by dinner in the common dining area. The dinner served was delicious and plentiful. We sat around a bonfire after dinner sharing stories and star gazing. A perfect night. Beds was super comfy and there was plenty of blankets to keep you warm as it gets pretty chilly at night. We woke up early to watch the sunrise, spectacular. Breakfast was Omani bread similar to crepes with honey and cheese, lots of fruits, delicious. It was definitely a wonderful experience, highly recommended.…
