Lovely individual building, furnished in a traditional style. The buffet dinner and breakfast was of a high standard. On the night I stayed a small group of excellent Oman musicians entertained with traditional songs and music. Stunning sand dunes are very close by.

If in Oman it is good to experience staying in the middle of nowhere, amongst the dunes. This property has got individual 'bungalows' spread out. It is not luxury but good enough to experience the surrounding area of sand dunes. Went for a drive in the dunes, which was great fun, and saw the sunset which was very good. Enjoyable stay.

The camp is well organised and clean. The drive to the camp definitely requires a 4 by 4 and is very bumpy in places. We had a rubbish hired 4 wheeler so we had to go slow and got stuck in sand twice.... But we got there. We were assisted by another two drivers, one of whom asked us for money! The camp owner said he was out of Oman so could not assist us. Dinner was great. Lots of veggie options. Unfortunately there was no music in the camp as there had been in the past but I think this is a nationwide ban on music. WiFi was ok but a bit hit and miss. We were upgraded for free to a deluxe room which was nice after an eventful ride there. Breakfast was not as good as dinner. Overall scenery is lovely but I think it's overpriced for what it is although cheaper than neighbouring Desert Night Camps...nice for one or two nights if you have a week in Oman and a good 4 by 4 or driver.

The location of this “hotel” is great in that it is right at the bottom of one of the dunes, which I ran down after our SUV adventure. Each room is in it’s own structure that is locked with a padlock. The spacious room was decorated in Bedouin style. The large bathroom has a truly walk-in shower with no curtain, and when the shower is used water sprays around the toilet area and needs to be wiped up if you don’t want to slip on the floor in the middle of the night. Hot water was limited. Some surfaces were dusty. The bed was quite firm and the towels provided were like sandpaper. The buffet for breakfast and dinner had lots of choice but of so-so quality - the meats were very tough. WiFi is only available at certain hotspots. This place was fine for one night of roughing it, but I wouldn’t want to stay here for long.
