We couldn’t have had a more unsettled stay. Dogs barking at the next door neighbours villa all night and all day, meaning we had zero sleep. Not so much a secret ‘oasis’. One of the showers was surrounded by mould and didn’t have a good draining system, which meant a rushed shower as the water would’ve spilled over the edges. The toilet in this bathroom also stank, no matter how much bleach or disinfectant we tried to use, so both of these things meant four people had to share one bathroom. The pool was meant to be cleaned on Thursday and wasn’t - even after calling the villa owner for this to be done. Nothing was left in the villa, not even a washing up sponge so had to buy and leave for the next person. The WiFi was awful and we barely had usage of this. The only positive we found was the view of the mountains and sea.
We booked to come here fairly last minute and the photos truly do not do the villa justice. We arrived at 3am and still the place took our breath away. The pool was lit up and the temperature was still warm enough to have a quick dip. The rooms are perfectly sized and the kitchen and living room were more than adequate. If you are looking for a peaceful, serene holiday then this is the place for you. My partner and I were so relaxed the whole stay. The local amenities are all incredibly close and are great for stocking up on food for the week and there are loads of restaurants nearby. We spoke to a TUI rep via the app to have the air con switched on upon arrival so we had an amazingly cool room our whole stay. I can also confim that they do have British plugs everywhere which was really handy. It does get really warm in the living room as there is only one fan and the WiFi was sometimes temperamental. Probably the only tiny annoyances. This place will really blow your mind and if you’re looking for a place to recharge your batteries then this is it. Some people have mentioned ants, however, we had no problems with them in the villa. As long as you don’t leave food outside they won’t appear. The instructions on getting to the villa were clear and concise and there was perfect lighting on the road.
Well here we are nearing the end of yet another fantastic holiday at Villa Yiasmin. I’m not going to bang on about how fantastic this place is as all previous positive reviews say it all. The location of these villas isn’t for everyone as they are off the main road that runs from Paphos to Coral Bay, they are approx 1 mile up the hill towards the ‘Dam’. You do need a car but as these are exclusive to Tui in the height of the season that gets included anyway. Air Con is extra but you know this because no where on the Tui website does it say it’s included, so don’t moan when you have to pay the extra €7 per unit per day. This year there are also two very large and very well functional floor fans so for those of you that don’t want to budget for air con these would suffice. The owner of these villas is a local doctor who also owns Adonis Water (one of the largest producers of bottled water on the island) he is a lovely man and will do anything to ensure your stay is spot on. So if you have a problem you pick up your mobile and call him, number is easily found on the board in the kitchen. If only the occupants of ‘Ladania’ had done this then I know he would have ensured the shower door was fixed. That’s the problem with us Brits, we moan about things after the event instead of being proactive! Sadly even a doctor cannot do anything about Ants but we purchased a tin of spray and after the first few days they have eased. All in all yet another fantastic holiday here at the Secret Oasis Villas, we have already booked for next year so that really sums up my opinion of this place however I will be making a few recommendations to the owner, as I think it’s time he updated the outside furniture.
I'm a single dad with three teenagers, and booked this Villa via TUI.
Secret Oasis Landania villa is set in a rural, quiet area. With a 10 minute drive to Coral Bay and local shops and restaurants. The road to the Villas is very well signposted, but can be a bit hazardous in the dark as there are no lights. The Villa it's self is in two parts its has two bedrooms with the second bedroom in an annex next to the main villa. It's well equipped with all the requirements from dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, oven and hob big fridge with small freezer department. The furniture itself is a little dated with the kitchen could do with a re design. The outside is perfectly set next to the pool, enough chairs and sun loungers. The pool is adequate, but as you are in the middle of nowhere it can be over run with dead bugs. The pool man cleans every other day and puts chlorine in, which sometimes can be a little strong. The patio is covered by the sun all day for all you sun worshipers, with plenty of shade when it gets too hot. The air conditioning is €7 per day which is payable by cash on the first day. Luckily enough other reviewers informed me of this otherwise I wouldn't have known.
Ants bloody everywhere, I woke up on the first morning with them all over the kitchen, helping themselves to food that I had bought on the first day. After this I kept all the food in the fridge, googled how to keep ants away. If any food is dropped off by the patio from a tiny crumb to a bit of cheese the little blighter ants come out in their hundreds. My children think I'm obsessed with ants now.
The other gripe is that the second bathroom shower is broken and the shower door doesn't lose, there are two other showers and a bath in the villa though.
All in all its a relaxing holiday venue with no one in sight for miles. If you a peaceful setting then I would recommend this place for you. The view of Coral Bay can be seen from the pool side making it a prefect setting.
As previously stated the chlorine in the pool is far too strong. It burnt/caused severe reaction in our 3 children see pic. which spoiled their holiday as being so hot they desperately wanted to cool off in the water. Ants invaded everything- even food sealed in packets so be warned. We we also stung by the cost of the air conditioning which was €7 per unit per day which obviously took big chunk of our money. Saying that although the villa could do with updating it was in a perfect location for a secluded family holiday but within easy access to towns and activities. Would recommend for families

Yiasmin was huge when we stayed - there was only two of us though. Can’t speak for Ladania but we’re currently staying in Violetta and apart from a steep road down to the villas it is pretty much the same. I’d say theres more of a breeze as its slightly below Yiasmin and maybe a little less ground but other than that would definitely reccomend!
