I went with my husband, and we had book the cheapest room, a studio with inland view but were given a one bed apartment which was a bonus. This was ideal and meant that we had a sofa and chair in the lounge so for three weeks, it meant we had plenty of room and didn't feel too claustrophobic.
There were some positives. Location wise, it was in a quiet area of Coral Bay, and a ten minute walk to Corellia Beach. The air conditioning was new and very good. The shower pressure was also excellent and the hot water was always hot. The rooms were cleaned everyday, beds made and floor washed. There was a full size fridge, and microwave and all the cutlery and glasses you would need.

The Tv only showed news channels, but the wifi was free and we had taken our laptop, so that didn't bother us too much. Our patio faced some trees but had three chairs and a table, all in good condition,
In our apartment, the fixtures were also old, and needed tending too. We had a knob missing off of the dressing table drawer, the shower curtain was very grubby, and the cooker hob was very worn. Even though the apartment was cleaned every day, the towels and sheets were only changed every four days, which I do not think is ideal. Also you cannot take the room towels to the pool.

We have just returned from a weeks stay at Panaretti and I will be honest, when we first arrived I was horrified by our room it was so dated and wasn’t the most clean. The hotel is very tired and run down. The next morning I asked for a room change and we was upgraded to a one bedroom which was much better, still very tired but the receptionist was very helpful and the cleaners are very friendly. The pool and restaurant were very good. Sun-loungers do need updating as they are uncomfortable but they do the job!

We used the bus service a lot it costs €1.50 single into coral bay and the same into Pafos, the bus stop is about a 10 minute walk away (we walked out the back of the hotel - much quicker) you can also purchase a day pass for €5 which we did when we went to the waterpark. This was very handy but you can walk to a supermarket which is about a 20 minute walk I wouldn’t use the mini market at the hotel as there isn’t much in there!

The beach is a 5 minute walk again walk out the back of the hotel, the beach is amazing and so picturesque we also found a lovely restaurant on route.

Some of the reviews on here are a little bit brutal, I wouldn’t say the hotel is a 4 star anymore but we enjoyed ourselves and had a lovely holiday. We would come back here but would suggest the hotel having a bit of a revamp I can imagine in its prime this hotel was amazing!

I'll start by saying this was a cheap package holiday so we obviously weren't expecting anything amazing! Our main disappointment was the cleanliness. We arrived to bed sheets and towels covered in yellow stains. They were supposed to be changed on the 4th day of our stay but never were. The cleaners came every day but at unpredictable hours and all they seemed to do was remake the bed and empty the bin. We opted for a self catering room but were not provided with any sort of cleaning products which meant we spent the week with sandy floors and mucky countertops. Every noise in the hotel echoes, we could hear when next door were having a shower and customers and cleaners would shout at stupid hours. The pool is impressive although there didn't seem to be much maintenance. A lot of the sun loungers and parasols are in need of replacing and there seemed to be a pretty bad ant problem. The 'health spa' seemed to be abandoned, the indoor pool had a lot of missing and loose floor tiles. Considering we barely saw anyone in there, the floor was filthy and the toilets/locker room looked and smelt like they hadn't been cleaned in months!! We barely saw any staff during our stay and when we did you couldn't tell if they were staff as they were dressed so casual. We only had a few interactions with them and they were unfriendly and unprofessional, often too busy on their phones to notice us! We were also looking forward to playing ping pong but there was only one paddle and a dented ball.

The area was nice, close to the beach where you can walk along the coast for an hour either way, there's also a water sports business. Theres a great supermarket about 40 minute walk away. Unless you plan on renting a car I wouldn't suggest this location. Theres really not a lot going on besides the coastal scenery. Theres no night life unless you're willing to walk along the road for half an hour in the dark to the high street. The hotel is dead at night too, no one at the restaurant or bar so we stayed in the room every night.

I can imagine it was an impressive place in it's day and definitely has a lot of potential if they were to put the effort in!

To all holiday makers do not book this hotel! Me and my partner have just come back from a week here and I can honestly say I have never stayed in such a dump. Everything was filthy dirty including the indoor facility’s, from thick mould in the bathroom to a dead bird in the children’s pool which another parent removed. The rubber floor tiles in the children’s park were sticking up, they were designed to help protect children, not pose a risk to them. Jacuzzi clearly had no chemicals and was full of green, stagnant and smelly water. No signs of even attempting to clean the pool, the mounds of rubbish in the pool grating were there from start to finish of my week in this cyprian hell. In the restaurant seating area under the outdoor canopy there is a panel missing from the roof, pigeons are flying in and excreting over the chairs and tables. The laundry room plug sockets had wires exposed which is a clear health and safety risk to children. The entire hotel was one massive health and safety nightmare! I will be taking this up with the Cyprus tourist office, 4 stars? It doesn’t even deserve 1! Before thinking of booking, look at my images and think whether you believe this place is 4-star worthy.
No effort from the staff to rectify this; they clearly just do not care! Maybe they are at a point where it’s so bad there is no going back. The owner is clearly just interest in taking our hard earned money and doesn’t care about any customer satisfaction!

The staff here are great incredibly rude,we were very cold at night due to our heater being broken and upon asking for more blankets they were not impressed, this became an issue throughout our stay. They would change our beds and not leave the extra blankets, therefore we would go and ask politely for them again, to which they were less than helpful, in fact if we wouldn’t have gotten them had we not practically begged.
They refused to give us change to use their own washing machines ( which I had to pay for numerous times despite booking an apartment). At the desk the receptionist informed me they wouldn’t give me single euros, which is no way to treat a paying guest , if she didn’t have them fair enough but she just said she wouldn’t give them to me and we didn’t ask many times I think twice max.
Also the beds in these apartments would cause very bad back problems. We are young and healthy but the beds were awful they were rock solid, meaning there was a serious lack of sleep, got during our stay so for anyone with back issues this is definitely not the place to stay.
Each time (which I can reassure you was not many) we queried at the desk they got mad at us, very impolite, answering back,
On the other hand for what we paid, we had a large pool and sea facing apartment, with beautiful views and scenery from the balcony, but after that you really have said all that is good about this place, needs a lot of renovations to make it a nice place to stay and the installation of some sound proofing is badly needed, as you can hear everything. We could hear the people in the next apartments conversation and from six am the work outside and alarms etc.
Everyone in this area has been amazing, polite and generous, the local people from taxi drivers to restaurants even the supermarket staff have been so informative, however perhaps don’t book this hotel/apartments as the staff/service comes with an attitude.

This was a cheap week away, so for the price, we didn't expect much. That's what we got! This hotel has a few major structural issues, and very many cosmetic ones. With most tiring hotels, the lobby is the best bit (first impressions etc), but the Panereti doesn't even score there. All furniture & fittings are very badly worn, some with questionable stains. We only ate there once, I'm not a fussy eater at all, but the food was all 'plastic' with little flavour. Tinned mushrooms, tinned sausages, strange pre-formed bacon? Best thing was the fried eggs, done perfectly! Our room was 217A. It had a dividing door with 217B, this meant you hear EVERY noise - enough said! There was also some equipment housed under or over us, which produced a constant humming noise 24/7.
The hotel staff were friendly & helpful.
The Panereti is quite a way out, so you're 15 minutes walk from the first bar, also the bus stop, and mini market (there is a small shop on site though). Taxis seem to want a minimum €10, as we took 2 to Phil's bar & were charged that each time. The drive is less than 10 minutes!
The Panereti is what it is.
Would I stay again? Definitely not. One week was more than enough, but it was a quick cheapie away, so that's that.

We stayed there 28 days, having been there 5 years ago. Nothing had changed! The ApartHotel was built around 20 years ago, originally as an Owners Apartment resort but was only ever used as an ApartHotel. The rooms are very spacious but look like they've never been refurbished except for the 2 ring electric hotplates. Quite run down, but acceptable considering how much youl'll be paying compared to other places. For instance, our bath had worn enamel and a rubbish shower! You get what you pay for, comes to mind! No oven- be warned. The housekeeping manager is the most wonderful lady. Some beds are comfortable, others are terrible! The lagoon pool is beautiful, clean and well maintained and slopes from a few centimetres to about 1.4 mt. This is perfect for young kids, as is it's kiddies pool. The play area is safe and in good condition.Suitable for wheelchair users, even the indoor pool is accessable by a lift. Facilities there are not impressive, but acceptable. The restaurant provides good quality food, but has a limited menu. If it isn't busy, breakfast is Continental, otherwise hot choices available. The in house shop meets basic needs but a 15 minute walk takes you to a good supermarket, car/moke hire and pharmacy. However, there is a shortcut via beachcliff walk which greatly reduces the trip. Ask reception, they speak English well. A hire car is recommended, but busses run nearby and are frequent and run quite late. there are many good restaurants on the strip in Coral Bay, and food can be delivered by some venues. We enjoyed our long stay holiday; very helpful and friendly staff.

I booked this accommodation one because it said he was close to the beach and close to local amenities. These could be nothing further from the truth.
We arrived at the hotel at 1930 ish and checked in and went straight to the room. When we booked it said it had a tv with plenty of channels to choose from. You could only watch the news. We was staying in a self catering apartment and was told there was a mini market on site. The mini market is a room with some shelves and stocked corn flakes. And cleaning products. No bread milk or water. So we was left with ordering fast food on our first night.
I actually wanted to go home I was looking at flights to leave.
Let’s talk about the room. The shower is nice and powerful but no heat. The room is basic the beds are rock hard. The maid was meant to come in everyday and sweep and empty the bins. She came in twice. We was meant to have linen and towels changed on the 4th day they wasn’t. Reception wasn’t very helpful and I would assume when staying at a hotel you would be given a welcome pack with things to do and where local places are.
The site said 200m to the local beach. This isn’t correct you have to walk down a dirty and wet path.around the rocks and through a field. The beach is a 15 minute walk.
Close to local amenities on the site said was 400 meters in-fact it’s a 30 minute walk.
The pool was lovely although it was freezing cold and you would of though the heater would be on.

I made a reservation with booking on this place for one night. We were a couple. When we arrived to make the check in they told us that there were no room for us because all rooms were booked. Being february out of season is very hard to beliebe and we made the reservation so there is no justification for that.
There were also a couple arguing with them for the same reason so it seems is a usual situation. The plan is that they offer you to take you to another hotel far from the sea so you pay the same for a worse place. We did not accept that and we needed to argue a lot for cancelling the reservation. The funny thing is that minutes later two groups arrived to make the chek in and they had rooms for them so they were lying us on the face. The manager was telling us lies all the time and the receptionist denied us the complaint document so we left that place an booked on other place. At least booking give us back the money back.

Unfortunately this place was not good at all.. i was working over here in Cyprus for a few weeks and for my final 4 nights i needed somewhere cheap to stay so i found the poanareti and i suppose its true.. you get what you pay for.

i initially paid for had booked but i got a refund on that as the food looked mildly average with no selection what so ever so i opted to eat out instead. (still awaiting that refund to clear currently)

anyway getting down the rooms this is where it all drops. on our first given rooms i took 1 look and was just shocked. dark and dingy rooms! a bed which the height comes up my shins if that.. (basically a mattress on the floor i would class it as( the mattress is just ridiculous! at least 25 years old if not more. springs sticking out and digging into your back, squeaks overtime you move. i asked to move rooms which they showed me a few but they where all the same. if you have every stayed here you would know what i mean!

after agreeing on a room even though their was no change with the bed i just had to go with it. your laying in dusty and infested blood stained sheets which will irritate your skin during your stay.. this really is the most uncomfortable i have been with any hotel stay and with someone who suffers with back problems this is really not good!

going on with the dark and dingy rooms your basically showering in the dark too! with a bathroom light with as much light as a match stick the moment you close their dirty and ripped shower curtain you are in pitch black and you will dry yourself with sandpaper like towels with rips in.. and again this was the same with every rooms i viewed on my request to change rooms so it wasn't as if i had the bad luck of rooms.

honestly if your looking at staying here i recommend you pay the extra 20 euro a night and actually find a hotel with clean rooms and that you will be comfortable in.
