I booked a surprise birthday for my husband last weekend and it was by chance I found Kennedy's beach villa. I literally didn't know what to expect but WOW was I blown away by the amazing service and stay! I called and got through to Ymile (the owner) and I explained that i wanted all the bells and whistles for the surprise i had planned for my husband. Ymile assisted me with absolutely everything she arranged rose petals on the bed, chocolates (lindt), champagne you name it and had even had a hand written Happy birthday note to my husband.
On arrival we were met by James (the host) what a beautiful individual! He treated us like royalty and after our 2 nights we felt like family! He had the jacuzzi going for us which overlooks the ocean , he had the wood ready for the evening fire on the 1st eve. The Saturday morning we went out for breakfast and came back to a spotless room without us needing to ask. It was really a very relaxing weekend and I cant remember when last i slept as well as I did at the villa ! Ymile had our full body massages booked for us and facilitated everything to ensure we were extra comfortable.
We travel abroad often and I can honestly say we have never had an experience quite like Kennedys! The facilities are great! Ymile and James are absolute angels ! I feel as though I know Ymile a lifetime just after 2 nights at her beautiful Villa!
I would highly recommend Kennedys! We cannot wait to go back and we will definitely be making a nuisance of ourselves 😁

What a lovely experience at Kennedy's Beach Villa! It has so much to offer and the owners and staff deliver such quality service with a personal touch. The views and location is incredible, and, coming from the hustle and bustle of the city, we loved the opportunity to truly unwind and relax in the natural beauty. James treated us like royalty from the moment we arrived, allowing us to enjoy all that Kennedy's has to offer.
After spending 3 nights and 4 days there we didn't want to leave! Thank you, Mr & Mrs Kennedy and James for our new favourite local holiday spot! It was the perfect getaway and we will definitely be back!

The location and view for this spot was excellent and being pet friendly makes it a unique getaway for the weekend. Service from James was most attentive....almost too much so. We would like to recommend 2 suggestions, namely that a breakfast deal with Milk on the Beach, be included in the package and that an alternative to paying the balance in cash be found. Carrying cash is a huge risk.

We are not so impressed. Let me start with what went well: 1. Location great 2. Bedding great and super cumfortable 3. Extremely friendly butler 4. Couples massage a real treat, even though paid extra for.
What bothered us: 1. We did not get the unit that we booked, even though that unit was available all through the weekend, we paid for the more expensive unit and was provided otherwise. 2. Confirmation email from the owner had the dates completely messed up, which had us confused. 3. Dont book the bed and breakfast, they take a 10% cut on the breakfast voucher. Rather deal with the restaurant directly. 4. At early night or even in the afternoon, take care of your door as the sprayers of the lawn is more important. 5. The extras account was firstly covered up with that the list at the bar fridge is outdated. 6. Secondly, we left with egg on their faces with, even deducting their so-called extras, reimbursing us for overcharging us.
To conclude, two comfortable nights sleeping. Fortunately many other locations available.

Thanks so much for the complements in beginning - sorry that you did not inform us in beginning that you were not in the apartment booked, as we could easily have set that right. As you have said - the other apartments was still available. The prices was on your booking for the extra’s - sorry that the pamphlet was not updated since prices on extra’s only went up after Lockdown. I am so sorry about the sprayers, but love guests that can just inform if they have such small issues to be altered. Would just like to inform it is the agent that you book through taking the 17% on breakfast and not Kennedy’s. So sorry you had such an experience as 98% of our guests have different experiences. This picturesque villa, overlooking both the Indian ocean and Onrus river, is ideally situated and decorated for the ideal, romantic weekend. Our friendly butler showed us the way to a cosy bedroom where a warm bed, sherry and cheeseboard awaited our arrival. Everything was beautifully kept and clean. The owner's keen eye for fine art is evident in the tastefully decorated room. Friday night's highlight was the heated jacuzzi, providing breathtaking views over the Indian ocean and river mouth. The next morning a scrumptious breakfast followed a stone's throw away from the villa on the river bank at Milkwood Bistro restaurant. In the afternoon we were treated to a relaxing massage on the deck overlooking the ocean. We can highly recommend this top destination. The quaint setting amongst the milkwood trees on the bank of the Onrus river, accompanied by the songs of birds is truly paradise! We will definitely return!

God's paintbrush is evident in the beautiful mountains, white sands and lavish trees surrounding the Kennedy's Villa. I had the opportunity to visit this incredible place, situated in the most secluded and pristine corner of Onrus, Hermanus. The views are breath taking and gives the visitor complete privacy right on the riverfront of Onrus river mounting the sea. The units are perfectly hidden in a massive Melkbos, integrating nature with luxury open air baths and places of rest. You will hardly find hosts that are more hospitable, friendly and generous as they made me feel at home the moment I stepped into this gracious villa. The living spaces are adorned with love and attention to comfortable living with luxurious detail worked in casually, tastefully reflecting the South African culture and art as well as collectables from all over the world as the owners are keen travellers. If you are planning to make a visit to Hermanus, here it is - luxurious living, nature on your doorstep, whales sitings, hikes and extreme privacy.

My daughter and I spent an uplifting weekend at this exquisite villa. Upon entering the impressive iron gate my daughter said it felt like entering the Narnia movie. The lush garden and works of art are evidence of the owners' love for beautiful surroundings which richly shared with guests. Phiri, the manager took great care to tend to our every need. The bed and bathrooms were beautifully furnished in white and everything was squeaky clean. we enjoyed the collection of art, the breathtaking views over the river lagoon and the ocean. Awesome sunsets and birds singing in the indigenous milkwood trees made this a true sanctuary for our tired souls. The pristine beach as well as the beautiful little restaurant on the bank of the Onrus River are both walking distance from the villa!! We enjoyed scrumptious meals in Onrus, Hemel en Aarde and Hermanus. The Walker Bay Modern Art gallery and restaurant was a highlight of our weekend away. A stay at kennedy villa comes highly recommend!True bliss!

We stayed over at Kennedy's Beach Villa for 10 nights and highly recommend the location that's within easy walking distance from the Onrus beach and Milkwood restaurant. The villa is spacious, neat and the kitchen has everything required for a long stay. Beautiful view from the balcony of the Onrus river and the sea. The owner, Ymile, is lovely and James available at all times to attend to any queries. Thank you Ymile for a wonderful stay!

Kennedy's Beach Villa is a hidden treasure nestled 1.5hrs out of CT. I stayed in the beach suite and was in awe of the hot tub perfectly located on the edge of the deck providing one with the breathtaking views of the sea and the lagoon. Also had a good massage on the deck. Inside the suite - it is well kept and decorated in old Victorian style giving it that luxurious feel. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a romantic getaway or simply a relaxed getaway with great views. James the housekeeper will be welcoming you warmly. Need I mention his patience for taking all the good pictures! 😊.
