Rhino Ridge Safari Lodge is the first privately owned lodge within the Hluhluwe iMfolozi National Park. The lodge offers superb accommodation in either Bush Villas, Honeymoon Villas, Family Rooms or Safari Rooms Honeymoon Villas have their own plunge pools and all rooms have private decks with magnificent views over the park. Game drives and bush walks take place both on the concession and within the park offering superb safari opportunities. The lodge is set high up on a ridge offering spectacular panoramic views. Guests can indulge themselves at the spa, relax at the 11 metre lap pool while enjoying delicious meals. NB!! NB!! Please note, do not follow any GPS Coordinates to the lodge as they will get you lost.

Amazing lodge with the most attentive staff. Couldn't have wished for me. Food, rooms and service couldn't be faulted. Our guide for the 3 days, Simo was amazing and went above and beyond to help us experience Hsluhsluwi. We saw Rhinos, Lions, Elephants, zebra, giraffe, buffalo, leopard, warthogs and wild dogs plus so many amazing birds and other scenery.

The journey drags a bit but it is 100% worth it. We had three wonderful days. Very beautifully and modernly furnished lodge and equally beautifully furnished cottages (terrace (and shower) with stunning views, fine woods, quality materials - and everything as sustainable as possible. With open fireplace!!! Food was very good and always with a view to the park... nice spa area (had a very pleasant pedicure with Lebo 👌) and we saw a lot of animals on the Safari. The lodge is 5star plus!!! Highly recommended! We were totally thrilled. And: there is a fund behind it in which the nearby village community is involved.

I had an amazing time at Rhino Ridge.My stay was beyond what I had expected !! I had a challenge getting to the lodge and the Manager was kind enough to come and escort me and made me feel at ease.On arrival the staff were so warm and welcoming.The rooms are beautiful and clean.The food was well prepared and divine. Spotted lots of animals on the afternoon game drive.I will definitely be returning with family next time.I loved the tranquility especially in the mornings.

A great place with very friendly people. We had great game drives with Tobega and an impressive bush walk. The meals were very tasty and the staff did everything they could to ensure a great holiday.

We had a wonderful few days at Rhino Ridge. The location is absolutely stunning and the rooms luxurious. All the staff we encountered we friendly and helpful - and the level of service throughout was excellent. The food we had was superb and the facilities of the lodge were very good. On our game drives, Thobeka our driver, was exceptional. So knowledgeable and passionate and despite not having the best of weather it was the most enjoyable experience! We also went on a bush walk where the excellent Sbonelo passed on huge amounts of information and was always mindful of our wellbeing and safety. I would have no hesitation in recommending Rhino Ridge. Thank you.

This dream place surrounded by the Imfolozi game reserve is the perfect place to recharge and reconnect with the nature in a luxurious environment with delicious food and wine including also vegeterian food with fresh products. The game drives are amazing because you see not only beautiful animals in their natural environment but also some amazing perspectives on the parc from the mountains. The staff is always very friendly, sharing the Zulu culture, always asking you how they can serve you best!

Great lodge, high on the ridge so with great view on the landscape below. Very welcoming staff, want to make sure you have a great experience. Very nice rooms. Pool and massages are also highly appreciated! I liked that you had choices for dinner and the food was good. What for me was a bit less is the high tea concept instead of a normal lunch. It’s nice for 1 day but not every day. Also, it takes quite some time from the lodge to the main roads in the park. Of course, you are in the park also on that road but game viewings I felt were less common on that road than in the rest of the park so it takes about 40mins out of every game drive. It’s minor things and I would not rate less over it, but I think it’s worth sharing.
