Rhino Ridge Safari Lodge is the first privately owned lodge within the Hluhluwe iMfolozi National Park. The lodge offers superb accommodation in either Bush Villas, Honeymoon Villas, Family Rooms or Safari Rooms Honeymoon Villas have their own plunge pools and all rooms have private decks with magnificent views over the park. Game drives and bush walks take place both on the concession and within the park offering superb safari opportunities. The lodge is set high up on a ridge offering spectacular panoramic views. Guests can indulge themselves at the spa, relax at the 11 metre lap pool while enjoying delicious meals. NB!! NB!! Please note, do not follow any GPS Coordinates to the lodge as they will get you lost.

Wonderful experience in the middle of the park, great food and staff and a nice mix of activities. The bush walk was very memorable. The room had a magical shower and sunrise view and a comfortable large bed. Overall a 5star experience, highly recommended!

Highly recommend this accommodation. Amazing food, views and game drives. Bit of a rough drive in hire car to get there, especially the last bit, but worth it. Staff friendly and helpful. Outstanding villa.

I cannot really complain about this lodge but I can say it was not really for us. The focus here is more about the food (which is fabulous) and the spa (also very good) and not so much on the safari experience. If you want to go and enjoy a high end hotel type experience with a beautiful location, a mini bar, an overpriced gift shop and an upmarket restaurant, then go for it. If you want to a great safari guide who takes time to find you the animals and is entertaining and fun, then I'd say choose somewhere else. There is very little interaction with the staff as the only time you see them is when they are serving you food so, although it is encouraged for you to get to know them, it is not really possible. It's heart is in the right place but it has no soul.

Great Lodge in fantastic wildlife area. The park hosts the big five and there is a very good chance to see Rhinos. The drive to the lodge is good - only the last 7 kilometers in the park are a bit bumpy, No need for a 4/4 but a shuttle service from the park entrance could be an alternative in case of bad wheather.

Amazing lodge with the most attentive staff. Couldn't have wished for me. Food, rooms and service couldn't be faulted. Our guide for the 3 days, Simo was amazing and went above and beyond to help us experience Hsluhsluwi. We saw Rhinos, Lions, Elephants, zebra, giraffe, buffalo, leopard, warthogs and wild dogs plus so many amazing birds and other scenery.

The journey drags a bit but it is 100% worth it. We had three wonderful days. Very beautifully and modernly furnished lodge and equally beautifully furnished cottages (terrace (and shower) with stunning views, fine woods, quality materials - and everything as sustainable as possible. With open fireplace!!! Food was very good and always with a view to the park... nice spa area (had a very pleasant pedicure with Lebo 👌) and we saw a lot of animals on the Safari. The lodge is 5star plus!!! Highly recommended! We were totally thrilled. And: there is a fund behind it in which the nearby village community is involved.

I had an amazing time at Rhino Ridge.My stay was beyond what I had expected !! I had a challenge getting to the lodge and the Manager was kind enough to come and escort me and made me feel at ease.On arrival the staff were so warm and welcoming.The rooms are beautiful and clean.The food was well prepared and divine. Spotted lots of animals on the afternoon game drive.I will definitely be returning with family next time.I loved the tranquility especially in the mornings.
