Part of Moholoholo Rescue Centre set up. Big, very comfortable rooms set in dense bush/ forest with lots of nyala buck around. Went on an evening game drive which was interesting and a morning bush walk which was worth it just for the views of the Drakensburg. Informative and enthusiastic guide. If you have a small or ,ow slung car get them to meet you at the gate of rescue centre as dirt road has, of necessity, big bumps (to control run off in rainy season). Boma braai was good and breakfast was very good.

This was amazing. I had a beautiful lodge with a direct view on wild animals. The morning I saw nyalas, monkeys and even a zebra through the window! It was so quiet and peaceful. The lodge was clean, the food delicious and the staff very professional. They have an impressive sense of organization. I can assure you they will do everything they can to match your expectations. They organized all our excursions including transports, lunches, etc. Everybody was always on time, we had absolutely no issues at all. In a nutshell, I had perfect holidays. So without any doubt, I highly recommend Moholoholo Forest Camp! Aurélie Oly.

This is one of the most amazing places I have stayed at. The rooms at beautiful, the food is delicious and varied and the people are great. Our guide, Megan, is a wealth of knowledge! She is so passionate about everything to do with the centre and what it stands for. We were her only visitors during our stay and she took us on a game trip and early morning walk. All the other staff were fantastic and so welcoming, nothing was a problem. Definitely a place we would visit again!

We brought another group over from the USA on a safari. Everybody LOVES this place. Crystal does a magnificent job taking care of us! The rooms here are very unique and very comfortable. But, you can’t beat the surroundings! Where else can you go and sit quietly on your verandah in a jungle/forest atmosphere and enjoy wildlife just walking by. Nyala....LOTS of them! Baboons, zebra, samango monkeys, etc. One of the members of my group fell asleep on his verandah and woke to find a wood owl sitting on the railing watching him. I was sitting on my own verandah, and a male nyala came right up to me and walked quietly past - just about 4 ft. away! This is a superb place to sit and relax! We took a nature walk as well, and the excursion was most interesting as my group learned all kinds of interesting things about the African bush. Meals are wonderful, too. Dinner is served outside in the boma under the stars. A great experience!

If you are looking for a quiet and romantic getaway in Limpopo - do yourself a favour and stay at Moholoholo Forest Camp. Oh my word - it is just awesome! The staff are really friendly and helpful. The rooms are beautiful and well appointed. You are really treated like you are the most important person to them! We had breakfast and dinner at the camp for our 7 night stay, and the cuisine is really good. Breakfast is a full English breakfast with yoghurt, cereals, muesli, cheese and biscuits and pastries. Dinner a 3 course meal and I must say that I cannot complain at all about any of the meals - really scrumptious! We were hosted by Christelle and Anita - very special ladies. So professional and nothing is too much trouble. They made us feel welcome from when we drove into the camp. The setting of the camp also provides privacy - you only get a glimpse of your neighbours room! If I could give them more than an "excellent" rating I would.
