For those adventurous types touring around South Africa - head up to Riebeck Kasteel. A great town in a spectacular setting and La Montagne is a great B&B. Charming old building with real character. Owners and staff so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great as well.

If you want a peaceful nights sleep do not be on Piet Retiet Street. It's being used by lorries and cars using their sat macs and is used as a rat run through the village. Not particularly the b&b's fault but a factor in deciding where to stay.

We had a lovely room upstairs which had everything we required. Friendly staff and owner, and very central to everything happening in town. The room also had air-conditioning which was very welcome as it can be very hot in Riebeek Kasteel. A lovely breakfast was served on the patio - but I would like to suggest that they offer guests...

We only stayed one night, and would love to have spent another night here. Spacious, clean, comfortable and all the required amenities, well equipped kitchenette, nice bathroom. Walking distance from the little town, and safe to walk around at night. Our hosts were lovely, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent.

There's many B&B choices in Riebeeck Kasteel. This one is up there with the best. Must be honest - I selected Le Montage because of the promise of a fantastic breakfast. And, they did not disappoint. Kitchen staff did an excellent job and we had a really satisfying and good and hearty breakfast every morning we were there. Centrally located....

B&B in a charming old house furnished in matching style. As we were 2 couples, we had the first floor to ourselves, which was great. Bedrooms are nice and large, bathrooms are tucked in under the roof and are a bit small, but have all the essentials. Breakfast is great and we were able to enjoy it outside after some...

Veronica, our thoroughly helpful and likeable host, set the tone for a pleasant 3-day stay in this quaint little town. We cheerfully abandoned our low-carb/high fat diet to enjoy her great two-course breakfasts, all of which broke the rules (hey, no one likes a zealot). Our room upstairs was comfortable and we had no complaints about the windowless bathroom (after...

Veronica will make you forget whatever diet you are on. Her breakfasts are legendary. Whatever quirks come up she will fix to make your stay a happy one. Anna is lovely too. It's centrally situated so you can walk to the restaurants, which helps when you have indulged in the awesome local wines.

The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming and made us feel right at home. Breakfast the next morning was good- delicious pancakes followed by some eggs. The house and rooms are very old and could do with a touch up. Stains on some of the cushions and the paint is peeling- felt like it wasn't 100% clean. Also, the room...
