We had a lovely stay in a comfortable spacious suite with its gorgeous bathroom. The atmosphere of the house is luxurious yet casual. And the setting and vineyard views are just gorgeous. The food… Oh my word! Delicious, creative breakfasts, lovely cakes, brilliant canapés, and definitely do stay in for the memorable three course dinners. Garth and Gareth are warm, considerate hosts and very talented chefs. Also parents to three delightful doggies. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to return soon.
It is not just the vineyard views from all vantage points of the country house that makes one's stay memorable, but also the attention to all one's senses. The room was well equipped and very comfortable. The smell and peacefulness experience of the fresh and clean countryside is amazing - with unending views of the vineyards and mountain ranges in the distance. Gareth and Grant, ably assisted by Eric, are excellent hosts. Breakfast, teas and canapés were to die for! We felt very privileged to have been able to spend a weekend at the country house and hope to return in the near future.
What a gem ! We spent only one night but loved the generous hospitality of hosts Gareth and Grant. The room was top class and the evening dinner , provided on request, was an absolute bonus. Breakfast on the terrace was equally good, well presented and full of flavor. Well done - hope to get back there soon The Bards
I would highly recommend this hidden gem. Gareth & Grant are outstand hosts as well as amazing chefs. The property is very well maintained. Rooms were stunning with evething you needed and more. It was a perfect weekend thanks to them and their staff.
There's honestly little more to say that hasn't already been written in the incredible reviews already submitted. My wife and i spent two spectacular nights at Vineyard Views for a weekend getaway in the beautiful Riebeek Valley. Every detail is meticulously thought out and there is a genuine feeling of "Home" in a barefoot luxury setting amongst the vineyards. Gareth and Grant are absolutely incredible hosts and you are guaranteed to be looked after during your stay. Highlights for us included afternoon tea and cake sitting pool side, enjoying the sounds of tranquillity followed later by delicious canapé’s, topped off with bubbly... to name a few. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with all the amenities one would need. There is also so much to do within the village and surrounds. There's an amazing Nursey near Riebeek Wes you have to visit and a wine tasting (and Pizza) at Kloovenberg Wine estate is a must! - Rugby fans... check it out, the rugby/family history of the Du Toit family is all on display and is fascinating. Also be sure to stop by 8-feet village, it's rather special. There is so much more i would like to write but instead i urge you to just scroll through the many amazing reviews and book without hesitation. THANK YOU to Gareth and Grant. We will absolutely be back!…
