We stayef 3 nights at the L’Oustalet in Gigondas and we can really recommend it, the room as well as the bar and the restaurant. We stayed in the double room, nice decoration, matching colors, bathroom has everthimg you need, the nespresso coffee and the very nice air condition. The staff is lovely , very welcoming , they made us feel at home. The food was very tasty at lunch as well the dinner, not to forget the nice breakfast. We really enjoyed our stay and can highly recommend it

We were on our way home to the South of France from Morzine, and thought this would be a good place to break our journey. What a brilliant decision! Not only did we have an extremely comfortable room (suite, room 2) with plenty of space, well-stocked fridge, and air-conditioning (necessity as it was 30 degrees and rising outside...) but we had a delicious pairing menu at their restaurant, and sat outside at the wine bar the next morning with a wonderful breakfast selection and fabulous coffee.... All in all, this little stopover cost us a fortune. We simply could not resist purchasing some of the extremely interesting white Vacqueyras wine that came with our starter in the pairing menu, but also some of the fabulous red Gigondas that was paired with our lamb. We set of south the next day, with a smile on our face, and a boot full of wine! We would strongly recommend a stay in these delightful rooms, unless you have a fear of open stairs with no handrail, in which case only the ground floor room would be suitable for you. Not sure I would want to escort very small children up and down the stairs either...

Had dinner there last night. Memorable buttery Chateauneuf white wine as apero and tasty food, with excellent service. I didn't explicitly ask for gluten free bread but the waiters must have overhead me that I am coeliac and spontaneously served me delicious home-made GF bread. Highly recommended.

This B&B is part of the adjoining wine bar and gastronomic restaurant under the same name L'Oustalet in the centre of Gigondas. The room we were allocated (No1) was very compact but clean, smart and offered tea, coffee and cold drinks within the room. I did feel is was rather unusual for a B&B to charge extra for breakfast, normally within the rate? As it turned out we were very grateful that we did not order breakfast as there was an additional charge of 15€ p.p. and all it consisted of was a very small selection of bread, pastry and jams deposited outside your room on a tray. We simply walked a few steps down to the local store where we had a wonderful coffee and bread/pastry for 1€ p.p. This is not the only area of improvement that could be made, somewhere an explanation that the B&B, wine bar and restaurant all function independently would be beneficial on check-in, as we had to leave the wine bar and the restaurant and return to the B&B as they would not allow us to charge it to our room and wanted cash. Very annoying !!!

One of the most beautiful hotels I've ever been to despite only spending one night there I wish it could have been longer, there are no faults, very luxurious and modern rooms and a stereotypical beautiful French village, and also a bar and restaurant 30 seconds from the rooms which are both delightful
