We stayed here while visiting Vacqueyras, Gigondas etc for their wines. This hotel is quaint, set in a beautiful area with a large terrace and pool. The restaurant is excellent and the service very good. The owners were extremely helpful and supportive during an emergency we experienced while staying there - beyond the call of duty! Will certainly return to this hotel on our next visit to this region.

Arrived late at this gem of a large converted Provençal house, the air suffused with alluring scent of jasmine. Clean well appointed modern bedroom overlooking verdant panorama and large terrace and swimming pool. A warm welcome from the host whose son also cooks - we enjoyed a very well prepared dinner with the wine of the region followed by a perfect nights sleep in the tranquil environment.Self service buffet style breakfast on the terrace wa simple but perfect with the addition of some excellent jambon cru and wonderful fresh orange juice. Those touches show a generous spirit. I rate this establishment as exceptional value and a true hidden paradise.

Have eaten at many places in the area but for location service and food this is so hard to beat. We had a superb meal with a wonderful fruit de mer and then tasty lamb. Charming staff too. Book, do go and note only open from around Easter to early October

After so many good reviews I feel almost guilty writing this, first the staff are top drawer in every way, the location is good and the restaurant is good with caveats, the room however was small very dated and had a very poor bathroom with bad lighting and a toilet set at an angle to fit it in, then you have to fit to the toilet, plus a small bath with a shower ? that came from the tap with a hose that was to short, the ceiling had stained tiles from a leak and some were loose and hanginging down, a refurbishment is long overdue, there is no lift so be aware of the stairs if you have a room on the top floor. The outside area is nice with a decent shaded pool and shaded areas to sit and drink. Many have spoken of the top rated food, we were there for a week and it was always just decent but for a strange reason the food never came came up hot even when indoors, something wrong here. With the staff it has and the location this should be a terrific hotel but the rooms let it down badly not good enough in this day and age, we would return but not to those rooms, how any one can give this place five stars with rooms like that is beyond me.

Been coming here for several years. This is a lovely place to wind down a bit or use as a a base for exploring the countryside that is dominated by The Dentelles de Montmirail and of course vineyards. This is a cross roads with gigondas, vacqueyras and beaumes de Venise on the doorstep. And there’s the Mont Ventoux of course. Carpentras with its ancient synagogue and market is nearby. The hotel itself, based on an old spa is full of old world charm. Good food and an appropriate wine list. And very quiet. Just the sound of cicadas and the odd owl above the quiet chatter. Rooms are good value and comfortable. Plenty of parking spaces. And there’s a pool! Only quibble is the lack of sockets in the room!
